Cruzer 1,992 Posted July 11, 2018 Idk if it's Good Old Day syndrome, or me being a crabby old fart - but Wimbledon just doesn't hold the same juice it used to for me. Back in the day I loved watching it, would even look forward to the early a.m. weekend Finals..... Granted we had Chrissy, Steffi and few others back then - but even the guys. We had McEnroe, Lendl, Becker, Wilander, Borg, Connors, Edberg, Cash, etc - names everybody knew....... Now, I know like Rog and Nadal.

Either the top tier players are so much better today then the next groups...(Fed,Nadal,Serena)...or tennis is just not as deep at the top anymore. Wonder how much new tech in rackets has changed the game. Are players games more alike now then previously...makes it possible for top players to dominate all year round....
