Holy Young Qb's Batman! Nfl is a mess...

Recommended Posts

Can anyone remember a year with this many untested qbs? Even those with less than 3 years experience...

Other than Brady...Big Ben ..Rogers and Brees.. its a preschool out there.

No......and yes it does seem to be a young crop.

Wow, right now I can only think of a handful of quality veteran / senior QB's, and half of them are close to retirement.

Brady

Rodgers

Brees

Rothlesberger

Rivers

Manning

who am I missing? :dunno:

Stafford

Yes, and Wilson crossed my mind as well but they imo are the next tier as far as vets I do believe, more mid level.

Am I wrong?

Not sure of the age of Stafford & Wilson, but they seem younger than the others I listed.

Rivers...not an elite level qb.cant stay on field.

Russell...im not convinced..

Eli...too bi-polar

Luck has how many full seasons? 2

Maybe I overstated...but the average age of this years qbs has to be the lowest in modern era.

Stafford and Wilson are 30 and 29 respectively. Sure they are younger but I would categorize them as veterans

It all comes down to how long a player is in the league before you categorize them as veterans. I would go with OP and say anything over 3 years is a veteran..

Rivers never misses games

Yes the NFL has an influx of qbs, but thats because there was a span of time where only 1 or 2 viable starters were coming out at a time. It's all cyclical. There was a big gap at rb talent, and now potential super stars are coming out in droves

I don't recall Rivers having this problem, Bradford sure.

The QB's aren't making the NFL a mess. It's going to be the new helmet rule that rains down a schitstorm. Multiple games each week will be turned by the whims of officials.

Blue is young but trustable (I put Garoppolo there because he only has a half year of starter experience.)

Red is young and unproven

I also think so, I mixed up Stafford and Bradford for some dumb reason.
