Release of Christian woman acquitted of blasphemy roils Pakistan

Recommended Posts

The Muslim religious group leading the protests, which brought the country to a near-standstill for three days after the Oct. 31 verdict, has demanded her death and threatened to take to the streets again if the state abetted her escape. In a statement released Thursday afternoon, the group said Bibi’s release and reported flight violated the agreement, brought “pain and sorrow” to the nation and has “written a black chapter in history.”

Asia Bibi had been on death row in Pakistan since 2010.

So she was on death row for speaking freely about Islam. And why do we want these people to come to our country again?

You have to be somewhat dim-witted not to know how this works after more than a decade of this crap.

Select primarily Southern Congress people call for a reduction in Aid to Pakistan at the request of their fundamentalist Christian constituents.

Pakistan suddenly finds the number 2 in Al queso and or Taliban. It's always number 2, maybe number three. Never number one. But always really high ranking, right about the time they're about to lose the 11 billion dollars in funding we provided them every year.

Lather, rinse repeat.

Seriously, never ever be the number two guy in AQ. you might as well be wearing a red shirt and be on the away team before the first commercial.
