Mom accuses Southwest Airlines employee of publicly mocking her 5-year-old's name...

Recommended Posts

There was this girl at my HS who got prego at 16 and named her son focking Optimus - this is right around when all the Transformer movies were blowing up. What a tard.

My cousin's daughter just had a boy, named him Maximus. They are calling him Max which is fine, but Maximus, really? And the husband's name is Jeromy, focked up spelling of Jeremy, you'd think he'd be a little more sensitive to the boy's name. Maybe it has some family significance, I dunno. But for any of you who haven't had kids yet, a boy needs to have a normal name or else he is going to end up in a bunch of fights. Girl names can be a little more creative but if you go Abcde on her, I'll be watching her on porn in 18 years.

This. When we had our son the main consideration was "will kids be able to turn his name into a cruel taunt or beat his ass". Didn't worry so much when naming our daughter.

Its a good name for someone who envisions their kid going through life filing lawsuits against people.

“So I turned around and just said, ‘Hey, I can hear you, so if I can hear you, my daughter can, too. I’d appreciate if you’d just stop,’” she told the station."

So is this woman going to go to school with her kid daily for the next 12 years and have this line at the ready? Because she is going to lose her voice quickly.

I don't get how parents want to brand their kid's uniqueness before they even take a breath on their own on this earth. Let the kid just be as they are born, and let them find their own self. Unique, average or whatever. But no, I wanna call my kid Flubalnobnock and start hormone therapy ASAP. Fvcking cvnts.

You should have to apply for names like you do for vanity license plates. If your choice is too weird it gets denied and the state names your baby.

Hey volty. Good to see you back.

Ive been busy. The school is transitioning out of a penny ante operation out of a spare room in the house to renting an apartment to now being all professional looking and stuff with an actual large office space, reception and waiting room in an commercial building. The rent is six times more than the apartment we us plus we have to finish all the fixtures since its just an open 2nd floor slab of concrete. When its done itll look like a real school run by someone who knows what theyre doing rather than me.

Its bigger than we need and costing us a huge chunk of change.

Our school has been growing really well but its not legally licensed or anything. To be legal and advertise openly we need to be licensed, so thiss the step for this point.

By openly advertising and not worrying about getting shut down at the governments whim, we shoul expand quickly.

And at no point does she stop and look in the mirror to ask, "did I set my kid up for this?".

I've suggested we either station CPS outside of the room during deliveries to check, or require the mother to be able to spell the name at birth and again a few days later. If you can't spell that sh*t the same both times, you can't put it on your kid.

Youve been operating illegally in Chiner? How risky is that?

Is this your own enterprise now? I always assumed you were working for the yellow man.

Pretty risky. Since leaving the kindergarten,. Ive kept my head down and not advertised. Ive been working for other schools too as the school has grown.

Ive cooperated with Chinese partners in the past and it sucked both times. This time, were doing it ourselves and the school is in my wifes name.

Gotcha. Best of luck on the new venture. It sounds exciting. Just try not to get caught. Id hate for you to get caned or water tortured.
