jgcrawfish 232 Posted December 20, 2018 It's being reported that a Zeke fumble was changed to a turnover own downs and Zeke gets back 2 pts and Indy defense loses 2 points. Anybody bitten by this change?

rubbish 0 Posted December 23, 2018 I actually won because of this...but I wish I had lost. My wife was my opponent and it was her first time ever playing. She doenst know anything about football, but she agreed to play in our league because we had an odd number of teams. We were playing in the semi-finals and I had Zeke and she had Indy's defense. I originally lost to her by about 2 points, but because of the stat change, i ended up winning. Felt really bad because she was so happy to make it into the finals, only to find out a couple of days later that she lost. Poor girl. And what made it worse was that all my players had played and she still had her TE left and she was winning by 2pts. So, i suggested to her that she should take out her TE cuz it can only hurt her if he fumbles or something. I also explained how there could be a stat correction, but not likely. So she took out her TE who ended up scoring about 5pts. So, I felt bed because she lost because of my advice. Is it acceptable FF strategy to take out a player like that? I told her it was, but not 100% sure thats cool or not.

StockOptions 1 Posted December 30, 2018 Our league uses the CBS Sportsline site. In our league the site DID NOT apply the stat correction for Zeke. For future scoring next year, I'm trying to figure out whether the CBS Site just ignores stat corrections or applies them if the right settings are made in the league setup options. For those who use CBS Sportsline for their league, can you let me know how your league handled the stat correction. Thanks! OP

OP We use MFL and automatically apply stat corrections when they come out on Thursday. Every owner in the league is aware of this which is why in close games no one brags until Thursday. I don't think we've ever had a score overturned due to stat corrections, though.
