SUXBNME 1,324 Posted February 13, 2019 Bloomingdale’s issued an apology on Monday for selling a shirt that read “Fake News,” and it has since removed the item from its department stores. Bloomingdale’s pulled the shirt from its stores after a reporter for New York City news station WPIX suggested to the retailer that the article of clothing “delegitimizes” journalists. Allison Kaden was shopping at a Bloomingdale’s store in White Plains, N.Y., on Sunday when she saw a mannequin wearing a shirt emblazoned with the words, “Fake News.” The phrase was made popular by President Trump, who uses it to dismiss reporting that he characterizes as false or sensational in nature. “Hey @Bloomingdales,” Kaden tweeted, “this isn’t funny or fashionable. It further delegitimizes hard working journalists who bring REAL news to their communities.” https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/bloomingdales-apologizes-shirt-reads-fake-news-reporter-claims-delegitimizes-journalism-171025758.html What's wrong with people? Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted February 13, 2019 Actual journalists aren't offended by this. They're ashamed at what the MSM has done to their profession.
