Cooked together, steak dinner, shrimp, mushrooms in garlic and butter, twice baked potatoes, and baked brussel sprouts. On a brussel sprout kick lately, salt/pepper olive oil and baked... Good stuff. We left Israel at 1:35 pm local time on the 13th, landed in Beijing at 4am local time and then got home about 1pm local time. So we were pretty wiped out. The other day the wife was wistfully drooling over 24k gold chains in the Arab gold market in the west bank. So when she went to the bathroom I bought one and put it in my bag. Didn't say anything at all about Valentine's day. On the plane somewhere over khazakstan or somewhere she said, "oh yeah, I forgot, happy Valentine's day." I said, "I didnt" and gave it to her. I go for spinach salad. just add in a handful diced purple onion and chop up a couple hard boiled eggs and voila you got it. Besides hot bacon dressing wilts spinach sufficiently anyway.
