I need the name of the part that is screwed in. Any idea what the specific name is? It may sound stupid but I can't find it. I would like to experiment with wings on the side of some of these lures I am refinishing.

I had not. I am now for sure. It's hard to really tell what is home made and what's not. The larger size blown up shows that it's a muskey lure. I want to scale it down to look more like a cicada. I know I can buy one but i am  enjoying painting them my colors and having fun with it. Also. I had never seen a lure like that with wings. It never occurred to me to use that type of side mount to use individual wings.
