What does CNN have against Boeing?

Recommended Posts

Somehow Boeing must have pissed off CNN at some time.  Their onslaught against the company after the 2 737 Max accidents sure seems like they have an ax to grind.

CNN's headline

MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES GROUND 737 MAX 8

And when you read the article:

Cayman airways

Ethiopian Airlines

Oh yeah....BIG Players there!

Well, China and Indonesia are grounding all of theirs from all carriers. That's pretty big.

Still, statistically, these two wrecks are a blip on the radar screen. Sort of like when I rolled a 37 on roulette.

  • The only two U.S. carriers flying this equipment are (for now) standing by their decision to continue flying this aircraft.

·         22 American Airlines planes in service

o    Flying in the following markets:  Boston/New York LaGuardia/Los Angeles/San Francisco-Miami

·         34 Southwest planes in service

and Canada.

Hey Ed United is also flying them.  I was on one last month.  Nice planes except for that crashing thing.

Yeah, I saw that thread.  You got attacked immediately out of the gate.  It's absolutely crazy left over there.

How far do you think we'll make it?

All the way to the crash site.

It's odd that most of these planes are in service in the US, Canada, Europe, China, etc. Yet the crashes happened in eithiopia and the Caymans.

Almost makes you think it might just be a pilot issue or a maintenance issue. I dunno.

Most of CNN's upper management is overweight and in the new Boeing they are forced to buy 2 seats.
