Are they called Potato Puffs or Tater Tots?  :dunno:

It depends on how broke your parents were.  I think as a kid mine were called tater poofs.

I've lived in OK, TX, VA, GA, CT, IL, IN, MI and NY.  I've visited every other US state except AK, ID, MT, ND, and SD.

Never heard them called potato puffs.

Regional differences. Pretty sure there’s places that call soda, “pop” still. All part of the fun when traveling.
