I’m strongly considering going with the Jags D, am I crazy?

Here’s why: Colts will have nothing to play for if Texans win. Colts are down their starting center and right guard. Rivers is immobile and can’t throw it deep. Colts only practiced once all week, on Friday. Meanwhile Jax practiced all 3 days, even on Christmas. Just seems to me one team is dialed in and the other is mailing it in. Also, Jax offense has been exploding, meaning Rivers may be forced to drop back and pass a lot of game (sacks and INTs).

Having said all that, Texans D is solid and they should be in a low scoring game. But Chargers have a better QB and more to play for. And they’re actually favored slightly.

Thoughts?

I am in a tough call at Flex in a 16 team PPR League. Picked up Estime off waivers yesterday and I am actually considering Audric Estime at the Flex at home vs. Jets. Below are my other options. Who would you go with? And thank you!

Standard scoring / no points for punt or kick return yards (yes, for TDs). I'm currently rolling with BUF @ CLE. CLE is all banged up; no OT, OG is questionable, TE2 and RB2 are both OUT, and best DB is OUT. BUF's HC is defensive-minded, and you have to figure he's licking his chops to show Sanders stuff he's never seen before.

Surprisingly, DEN only has 12 turn-overs season to date. JAX is decent running the ball, and has decent Wrs. So, I don't see a lot of upside? I played TB last week at home vs. ATL, and they big-time disappointed.. CAR has had some good games this season, and have a decent group of Wrs, as well as a two-headed monster at RB.

Full-point PPR league. RB1 = Saquon. WR1 = M. Evans; WR2 = C. Sutton; TE = T. McBride. Currently rolling with ARI RB M. Carter as my RB2, who is Home vs. ATL. ATL is in the bottom-half defending RBs. I think he set a career mark for scrimmage yards last week. My other options are HOU RB W. Marks (Home vs. LVR), and NO RB A. Estime (Home vs. NYJ). Woody was OUT / OUT / Limited this week. Meanwhile, Chubb was LTD / FULL / FULL. And, HOU's RB4 “went off” last week. HOU “should” easily win this game, and I expect they will rest Marks and ride the other guys. I really like Estime .. but do I went to risk the Championship Round on a street free agent pickup, on a team with Taysom Hill possibly stealing RZ looks??

At FLEX I'm currently rolling with ARI WR M. Wilson, also Home vs. ATL. My other options are: SF WR J. Jennings @ Indy, or NYG W-Rob, Home vs. MIN. I quickly ruled out W-Rob, as MIN's pass defense is scary, and shut down the G-Men a few years ago. Regarding Jennings, the volume just isn't there. Yes, he's been a RZ-stud the past five weeks or so. But, I expect SF to control this game with IND QB being grand-pa P. Rivers, and running with C-Mac, and hitting Kittle on 2nd- and 3rd-and longs.

Mine is a Super Flex League, so I plan on starting one of these two QBs in that spot. Currently holding Darnold.

Darnold gets Rams at Home and then on the Road in Week 17 against the Panthers.

McCarthy gets Giants on the road and then at Home in Week 17 against the Lions.

Most would rank McCarthy higher in Week 16 given Giants give up more passing yards.

Just not sure if nabbing McCarthy and dropping Darnold is the right choice.

Any opinions would be helpful here.

12-team 1/2 PPR League, one game from the Championship and my team is stacked so Flex honestly shouldn't be *that* important but at this point in the season every point count and I never want to count my chickens before they hatch.

Do I continue to roll with Rashee Rice even though Mahomes is out? He does have a JUICY match up against the Titans...

Or do I go the safer route and play Javonte Williams instead against a middle-of-the-road Chargers run defense?

For reference, my other starting RBs/WRs are Bijan/Achane and JSN/AJ Brown, I don't see a situation where I bench any of those guys over the two above but if you think there's a case for it, I'm happy to hear it. Leave a link to yours and I'd be happy to take a look.

Full-point PPR. Currently rolling with WR1 = C. Sutton and WR2 = E. Egbuka. FLEXing M. Wilson. BUT – I also have NYG WR W-Rob, DAL WR R. Flournoy, and SF WR J. Jennings. I'm concerned about Egbuka, who has done nothing the past month.. Also, J. Jennings has caught TDs in 4 of the past 5 games. I'm also concerned about Wilson, who will be at HOU which has a top-tier DEF. (NOTE: I'm also starting ARI TE T. McBride..) W-Rob will get me double-digits pretty much every week, and an occasional “spike” week. Home against WAS could be one of those weeks. Lastly, I just grabbed Flournoy. I saw that CeeDee really “got his bell rung,” and am skeptical he'll play. If he does not, Flournoy has “blown up” at least twice when CeeDee was Inactive. Also, he'd "stack" well with my QB, Dak.
