Need two owners for dispersal draft, non-IDP dynasty league - MFL

Hello,

I'm looking for two more owners to conduct a four team dispersal draft for UFFL VI, a non-IDP salary cap dynasty league.

The replacement owners will conduct the dispersal draft in a GroupMe chat, selecting players on the open teams. The draft order is serpentine and the number of rounds is 24 but owners can choose to stop drafting anytime after 20 rounds.

Some of the players available in the dispersal draft are J. Daniels, B. Purdy, B. Nix, D. Prescott, Bijan Robinson. S. Barkley, O. Hampton, T. Etienne, Jav Williams, D. Henry, B. Irving, D. TD 3 is one of six leagues in a pyramid format. Teams that do well move up a tier in the pyramid. Others stay in their league or move down a tier. There is a league realignment every other year.

Two copies of duplicate players available within each league during the offseason changed to one player per league prior to the free agent/rookie draft so players already on a roster cannot be drafted or picked up during waivers. There's an inter-league trading period during the offseason and tons of trade activity throughout season.

I'm looking for an owner to take over an orphaned team in an IDP dynasty league.

Full IDP, place kickers, punters, points for all the normal things as well as return yards. Contracts run up to 4 years (5 for rookies). Two tags each year to keep players with expired contracts. Rookie draft in late May. Extra picks to be won in consolation playoff competitions. Free agency auction in july.

League fees are $60/year. The open team have paid $30 towards the 2026 season, and we would be looking for new owners to pay the 2026 balance and $30 towards the 2027 fees, which would allow you to trade 2027 picks. All league fees (less MFL fees) paid out as prizes.

I think the league has been running for 8 years (I joined in 2020). I recently took over as commissioner, but the former commissioner is still in the league - he just needed a break.

Salary Cap - Contract League - Full IDP Lineup - 50% discount 2026

This league is certainly not a 'normal' fantasy league - it is a lot more in depth than your typical league. This league is a salary cap contract league. We are pinned to the NFL salary cap, and our free agency is an 'auction draft' rather than a snake. You bid with your cap space and high bidder wins, but you cannot exceed the salary cap.

This league is set up to mimic a real NFL GM experience as closely as possible without being overly complicated. This is a 32 team league that is split into 2 16 team conferences with their own player pool. The only interaction between conferences is when they play each other in the Super Bowl.

We have full 46 man rosters (required to be at 46 every week by kickoff on Sundays) and we start a full IDP lineup. Starting lineups are 24 players including 10 Offense, a Kicker, a Punter, and 12 IDPs. We also have 16 taxi squad spots.

As a new owner you would be taking part in a dispersal draft to start. This draft is of players that were still under contract on teams who had their owners leave. Each new owner will have a draft from this pool of players so you have a say in how you start instead of just taking over whatever is there.

As a result, a new owner will receive a 50% discount for year 1 (2026). The dues would be $75 for 2026 and a $150 refundable deposit for 2027 (refundable to the extent we have people willing to pay to take your spot - hence your 50% discount this season) If you decide to leave after 2026 and you find someone willing to pay full price to take your place, you'd get the whole $150 back from 2027 deposit. We always pay a year in advance.

All league dues run through Leaguesafe with a majority rule payout.
