Steve-O-328 0 Posted August 3, 2006 Tiki may fall to me at 6th, but i've had my sights set on either Steven Jackson or Ronnie Brown. Concerned about his age and vulturism from Jacobs. Leave a link i'll respond
Bottles 0 Posted August 3, 2006 If Tiki is on the board, def. grab him. After Tiki, I'd go Lamont or Edge, then SJax. Do not go Ronnie Brown. I'll leave a link later tonight if that's ok.

Jackson, R. Brown, C. Williams, L. Jordan, in detail. Also what is the scoring system for your league?

ExtremeFajita 0 Posted August 3, 2006 When deciding on players around the same level tier, I want the most consistent scorers week-to-week and use Matt Waldman's Crank-AVT rankings for that. That would get you: Tiki (#3 overall) LJordan #6 Edge #7 Cadillac #8 One added bonus with Tiki...if you end up in the finals in week 16 he will face the N.O. Saints defense...at home. Ray_T 753 Posted August 5, 2006 Tiki and then Jordan if your league gets PPR, otherwise Ronnie Brown I agree. Ronnie Brown is gonna have a huge year.
BiGGuy53 0 Posted August 5, 2006 I love Tiki, but I fear he may drop off this year like Curtis Martin did last year. Running backs age quickly and it can happen over night. Especially when they are in their early 30. I'm not saying this will happen to Tiki, but the odds are not in his favor. Because of his performance last year, I don't think he'll be available to you with the six pick. Which will probably be a good thing. Personally, I like LaMont Jordan, Steven Jackson and Ronnie Brown (in that order) if they are available. Great running systems and low mileage on those three. I think there is too much risk involved with Edge. Also, his O-Line took a hit this week losing Oliver Ross for a couple months. Hope this helps. Here's my question if you get a moment: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=219091
SteelCurtain61 0 Posted August 5, 2006 Tiki will not make it to 6th(in my league the #3 is talking about him, if not then 4), but if in your draft he's there TAKE him w/out thinking, if not Take Jackson then R Johnson http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=219140
brya31 0 Posted August 5, 2006 I have the same dilema and I am leaning towards Jackson. I fear Tiki is due to break down, so I am looking at the younger Jackson.
Thre3Deep 0 Posted August 5, 2006 I like Edge personally, only and only if Warner can stay healthy, a good receiver out of the backfield and 2 studs on the flanks could surprise alot of people in Zona..I think him and Tiki are even there..
