Maroney for Houshmandzadeh

Recommended Posts

A guy in my league wants Maroney. I was think about asking for Houshmandzadeh straight up. Is that asking too much? I'd like a receiver. He has Fitzgerald, Bolding and Housmandzadeh, but zip after that (G. Jenning is his first guyoff the bench). SO it's either one of those three guys or no deal. I could throw in Galloway, Rod Smith, Glenn or Wilford on my side to balance it out. The only top tier receiver I have is Harrison.

I have Dillon as well and would consider packaging Dillon and Maroney for Houshmandzadeh and one of the following: Addai, M. Barber or J Norwood.

My current other RBs are LJ, Parker and A. Green

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Leave a link. I'll answer yours.

If you're in a keeper/dynasty league, there's no way I'd trade Maroney for "Houshyourdaddy". Even in a non-keeper league, I wouldn't make this deal--Housh has a heel injury, and while he's listed as probable this week, I'd rather start Glenn than Housh. If he's willing to trade Fitzgerald or Bouldin, then it'd probably be worthwhile. In my opinion, Housh isn't an upgrade over receivers that you already have. Also, Maroney is one play away from being a stud RB (and Dillon hasn't exactly been an iron-man the last few years). I also wouldn't trade Dillon/Maroney for Housh and one of those RB's you mentioned--you'd be trading good Rb's for back-ups/RBBC, with no significant upgrade at WR.

DO NOT make that deal as is...you would be giving up way too much. Maroney will find paydirt often this season...do not bank on getting the same numbers from an 'iffy' WR...

Thanks for looking at mine.
