Killer B's 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Check out my roster below. I have to start two RB's and a flex. I've already decided on Jax and C. Taylor for my backs. The question is, should I bench McGahee and Parker and put Colston in the flex position against Tampa? Please put some thought into this...I know I sure as hell have! Keep in mind scoring, which could sway it: 1 pt for 20 yds rushing 1 pt for 10 yds receiving McGahee has Chicago (#7 run D) Parker has San Diego (#1 run D) Its just that starting a rookie WR over two of my high draft picks gives me the heebie jeebies. Opinions? I would start Colston only because your league requires 20 rushing yards for a point. I could see Coston and McGahee both having about 100 yards and a score. Your scoring system pushes me towards Colston. This is one of those decisions you shouldn’t beat yourself up over. It is too close to call.
Tall Stranger 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Man, this is hard. I've changed my mind twice already just thinking about it. I agree, though, that you'll probably end up pretty close to the same either way. My thinking is this: Colston has a much bigger upside than do the other two. McGahee and Parker have to rush for twice as many yards as he catches. At best, these guys can hope for 100 yards rushing (5 points). I can EASILY see Colston getting 50 yards receiving. In addition, your RB can, at best, hope for 1 TD. Again, Colston's chances of scoring are at least as good as your RBs. Finally, ask yourself: who's more likely to have an incredible, break-out day? It's gotta be Colston. Just my thoughts. As I said, very, very tough decision. Good luck.
Triumph 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Colston rules! I would start him. I am having trouble trading him off because he has done so well. Plus the other matchups are sketchy. Parker is really good but he's a roller coaster and if it wasn't CHI I'd say go with Willis! Coston has the better matchup. Plus Colston put up over 20 ffl points for me last week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241642
