Bryant Johnson OR Hines Ward?

Who is going to have the better week? I need to choose between:

 

Bryant Johnson @ Oakland

 

OR

 

Hines Ward @ Atlanta

 

My thinking is Fitz is still out and Leinart seems to be playing pretty and Johnson is the #2 guy right now. He could explode against Oakland for 8-9 for 100 yards and a score.

 

Hines Ward is probably the safer pick who will get 4-6 receptions for about 40-50 yards and a score.

 

What do you guys think????

If it was me...i might get risky and play Johnson. As much as Mondays game stung Leinart i think he will come back with a vengence against Oakland. He looked Johnsons way a lot on Monday and if Fitz is not playing i would expect the same thing to happen.

 

I personally am not a fan of Hines Ward, but thats just me.

Agree with above poster - take Johnson if you want to gamble. I think Ward is likely to be more consistant, if slightly boring.

pitts will be sticking with the run and ward gets most of the attention by opposing d (except kc, who didn't bother to cover anyone).

BJ. OAK secondary is the best in the league, but when you cant run the ball worth a damn all offense is going through the air. on top of that, ATL secondary is too good. the only reason they looked so bad last week is cause the giants got the run game going early. until last week, they hadnt given a passing TD.

I would go with Ward.

 

After the first quarter, Bryant Johnson go not love. Bolding is the man and will get almost all ofthe catches.
