I currently Have Jax and Philly on my roster, and Minnesota is an available FA.

 

JAX has been great but thet are playing Indy.

 

Philly is playing WAS, but has been unreliable at best.

 

Minnesota will cost me $10 to pick up but they are playing Detroit and are projecting big in my league.

 

Points for sacks, INT's, TD's, and points allowed.

 

What should I do?

You can't play Jacksonville against Indy, people will say they are good against Peyton.....but you still can't do it. Just play Philly against Washington this week, I don't think Minnesota is worth the $10!!!!!!!

Tough Call, it would depend on other matchups against the team I am playing for me. If you can look at your oppenents team and feel you need the Vikes, then pick them up. If you are confident with your team, then go with the Eagles. Jason Cambell is bound to make mistakes.

I say if you don't mind spending 10 bucks, go for the Vikes D. If you would rather save the money, go with the Eagles D.

I'd go with the Vikings. They had like 3-4 INTs last week, and facing Jon Kitna, they could do that again.

I have gotten some good advice and am leaning towards spending the $10 extra to pick up Minnesota. Does anyone disagree that The vikes are a better option than Philly or Jacksonville this week?

You should probably get Minnesota, but not just for this week. If it was just a one week thing, I would say save your $10 and play Phily. But look at the next 2 weeks, too.

 

Jax (your "starter") plays a hot Tennessee team next week. Then in week 16 (I assume your Super Bowl), they go against the Patriots. Touch schedule.

 

Philly plays at the Giants next week, which is an O.K. matchup. But then in week 16 they play in Dallas. Ouch again.

 

Minnesota plays the Jets next week and then finishes off against Green Bay. Ahh, now that's more like it.

 

So, pick up Minnesota, and probably stick with them the rest of the year. Or if you disagree with me on that, just roll with Philly for this week vs. Washington, as it isn't worth it to pay $10 for a 1-week fill-in.
