Morris, Tatum, Dayne, Herron, Adrian Peterson (Bears), Rhodes (but I am already waiting on KJ), and Turner. Thanks! PS -- My league doesn't allow trades. That trade thing sucks, but thats JMO. I think if you can grab Henderson than I would, I think he could blow up with his speed and the first week was not a great indication of what he is capable of doing. I also think that by WWing you may wind up hurting yourself, sometimes you cant improve your hand. I realize Hackett is not great, but he isnt that much worse than what you could grab, is he? Can you let me know what you would offer with Foster to get Harrison (without giving away the farm)? Thanks! Oh, I think you shouldnt worry too much about your backs. runnerxc 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Depending on how many your allowed to have on your roster, I would try to do something. Looks like you may have to start playing the match up game. I think Benson, Jackson, Bell (not a bad showing for him in Detroits offense, but was a lot of garbage time points), and Ward (who got a lot of looks with Jacobs out) are all pretty interchangeable as far as potential. I would play them based on match ups, whoever plays weaker defenses, go with them. I'm not high on Benson but he is on the best team of all these players making him, probably, the most valuable. Chester will be back soon and I still think he has potential with Peterson. Jackson is a solid start against poor defenses, especially with Morency out. There's no cut and dry good #2 in there so go with the match ups, it's probably your best bet. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

77jimmy 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Ward would be the only one worth looking at but I tend to agree that your backs look fine. I don't think Taylor is that injured and will be back. Benson will have something to prove and get better. I would monitor the Manning situation as I think he is worse off than people think which could influence your decision. I like Benson as a RB2; he will have a few good games, I think (how could he not with the Bears' defense getting turnovers?). If you wanted to make a move, I would think of dropping Hackett and getting Ward. If you wanted to take it a step further, I think you could pick up Tatum Bell and drop Brandon Jackson, Roethlisberger, Chester Taylor or Kevin Jones, but I'm not sure that makes you stronger as Kevin Jones comes back in a few weeks. Taylor could be a good guy to drop because I have a feeling that he's basically lost most of his reps to Peterson, even when he comes back.
