Trade involving McCoy

Recommended Posts

Get: Mendenhall, Gronkowski, Cam Newton

Give: Lesean McCoy, Sam Bradford

.5 PPR, all TD's 6

Current team is in sig, all three of them would potentially start for, and it's a keeper where Newton was taken last round. I feel this is the time to get Gronkowski, main concern is do you guys feel Mendenhall will produce?

Agree that you should take the deal. Gronkowski is looking like he should easily finish as a top 3 TE this year (especially w/Hernandez out for a month). You're right that the time to get him is now. Mendenhall is off to a slow start but he's still a legit RB1. Cam Newton looks ridiculous right now. If he can consistently add 5-10 points on the ground each game I can't see how he could have a bad week. 200 yds, 1td, 3ints would yield most QBs 6 points. If Newton adds 50 and a TD on the ground to that it becomes 17. Not a bad bonus.

I'm curious to know who your starting QB and TE are right now. Basically this comes down to Mccoy-Mendenhall vs. (Gronkowski-Olsen) + (Newton-Cutler/Bradford). I like the right side of the equation more.

I also agree that McCoy is a beast in a .5 PPR league, but Mendenhall will be great and has a beautiful playoff schedule, but also think you have to take Gronkowski...

If possible, I'd include Cutler instead of Bradford. If the other guy is offering Cam Newton, I imagine he has a QB he took over Cam and Bradford may just be a backup. Since he's getting the best player in the deal, I'd imagine he would be willing to take a different backup QB. If Bradford would be his starter, I don't think he'd take Cutler.
