trich20 0 Posted September 21, 2011 Get: Mendenhall, Gronkowski, Cam Newton Give: Lesean McCoy, Sam Bradford .5 PPR, all TD's 6 Current team is in sig, all three of them would potentially start for, and it's a keeper where Newton was taken last round. JKAP21 0 Posted September 21, 2011 Agree that you should take the deal. Gronkowski is looking like he should easily finish as a top 3 TE this year (especially w/Hernandez out for a month). You're right that the time to get him is now. Mendenhall is off to a slow start but he's still a legit RB1. Cam Newton looks ridiculous right now. If he can consistently add 5-10 points on the ground each game I can't see how he could have a bad week. 200 yds, 1td, 3ints would yield most QBs 6 points. If Newton adds 50 and a TD on the ground to that it becomes 17. Not a bad bonus. I'm curious to know who your starting QB and TE are right now. Basically this comes down to Mccoy-Mendenhall vs. (Gronkowski-Olsen) + (Newton-Cutler/Bradford). I like the right side of the equation more. steelers2101 7 Posted September 23, 2011 I also agree that McCoy is a beast in a .5 PPR league, but Mendenhall will be great and has a beautiful playoff schedule, but also think you have to take Gronkowski... If possible, I'd include Cutler instead of Bradford. If the other guy is offering Cam Newton, I imagine he has a QB he took over Cam and Bradford may just be a backup. Since he's getting the best player in the deal, I'd imagine he would be willing to take a different backup QB. If Bradford would be his starter, I don't think he'd take Cutler.
