Who To Start in PPR: Wayne @ TB or D Thomas @ SD?

Deciding between Reggie Wayne at TB and Daniel Thomas @ SD in my PPR league. TB just gave up a lot of catches to Roddy White and SD is tough against the run, but Thomas seems the better bet to score a TD.

I think Reggie Wayne will get you solid pts against TB... 7-8/90/1td

Thomas has a chance to do 40yds to 110yds/2tds.

 

I like to go with the more predictable production UNLESS you opponent is a big scorer.

this is actually a really tough decision.

 

keep an eye out for who's starting for IND. in preseason, painter looked wayne's way all day, so it might be a good idea to play wayne.

 

on the other hand, thomas has been getting plenty of touches the past two weeks, and touches = opportunities.

 

if it was up to me, i'd go with thomas. good luck!

One of the previous posters said something about the sure thing or consistency in Wayne...but I beg to differ. The talent is there, but they were talking about him declining this year even with PEYTON at QB...you have to go w/ the RB for Miami who has been getting 20 touches a game. Good luck!

i agree that you go with the guy who gets more touches (even if they're rushing and thus less yards each). If Miami hardly runs at all he's still good for like 15 carries. If they're on the goal line he gets to punch it in. Also consider that TB has very good corners in Ronde Barber and Aqib Talib and I doubt they'll get torched 2 weeks in a row. Go with Thomas.
