Gordon for Ingram

I almost feel dumb putting this out there but I was offered Ingram for Gordon and from my signature, you can see the only thing i lack is RBs.

 

Two concerns here:

 

1. I know injuries can happen to anyone but Ingram has a history of them.

2. Thomas and Robinson will be coming back and WILL take a significant amount of touches away from Ingram.

 

 

Once Gordon is back I will be able to start 4 WR1s weekly and from what I'm reading it sounds like Gordon has got his act together and is ready to get back on the field.

 

I do also have Sims who has a chance to be a pass-catching back and Im in a ppr league. I know thats a big risk since he hasn't been active this season, but so is Ingram.

 

 

Someone talk persuade me one way or the other.

I guess for me it depends on if you are solid on getting into the playoffs or need some help yet to get there. If you are 4-4 ish or less I would do this deal, you cant wait on Gordon.

That's another good point. I'll be 6-3 after this week but it's a tight race in my league.

If at 6 wins I'd stick with Gordon. More upside and Pierre coming back eventually.

I wouldn't make the trade. When PT and Robinson come back, I think the Saints's run game will look more similar to St. Louis. Gordon will probably be ready to go like you said, and Hoyer like passing to him. I'd try shopping another WR around for a better RB situation.

I offered Ingram for Gordon and was shot down immediately. Ingram is great right now but once the other Saints RBs come back his value goes way down.
