scottsind 61 Posted November 8, 2016 I am about to give up a first round pick in 2017 for one of these two players. Which one should I snag? All things to consider in this trade are schedules, injury history, and age (future trade value) as I am going to hold onto this player for two more years after this year. I have their schedules listed with the player to help. Thank you! Odell Beckham Jr. (72 points on the year, 24 years old) Cinci Chicago @ Cleveland (oh yea) @ Pittsburgh Playoff schedule Dallas Detroit (oh yea) @ Philly (just scored 2 tds with not much yardage in week 9) Julio Jones (100 points this year, 27 years old) @ Philly Bye (big downside to this trade) Arizona Kansas City Playoff schedule @ LA Rams San Fran (oh yea) @ Carolina (lit them up first go around, I am sure they will make an effort to not let this happen again) LEAVE A LINK and thank you! rrmcguire 36 Posted November 8, 2016 Beckham, Giants come on at the end of the year and his playoff schedule is nice with Shootouts with Detroit and Dallas http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=460659
guiseppi 2 Posted November 8, 2016 I agree, I like O'Dell for the final run, youth always trumps age... and I really like his playoff schedule.
SNES4Life 0 Posted November 8, 2016 50/50. Either one will do you good in the long run. Beckham just because he's got fresh legs whereas Julio can get hurt anytime with his health from time to time.
Byrdman5 112 Posted November 9, 2016 If your going to keep them for 2 years after this year. Here are a few things to think about. Julio has injury history and could break down in the next 2 years. Has Matt Ryan turned a corner and is now in consideration of elite statis? I read a lot of Ryan in the offseason, about how he is was working extra hard on the small details of his game. He worked out with some guys who helped turn Brady into a good deep ball thrower. ATL has a good oline On the other hand Eli is close to the end so will he be productive the next 2 years? Also he is due to break soon( longest active qb game streak). NYG doesnt have a good oline. Will Shepard take away from Odell in the next few years? Julio is more physically gifted and on the better team, but he has injury issues. I'm going to say Julio because I think he will be better in the championship rounds this year. scottsind 61 Posted November 9, 2016 Thanks for the feedback. It just so happens that someone beat me to the punch on Odell. I am hoping Julio is still on the table.
