The fact is that 30 years ago, when faced with the ability to govern themselves, the Palestinian people overwhelming elected Hamas and their platform of the destruction of Israel, leading eventually to the death of all Jews. All polls indicate that that strong support continues to this day. The Palestinian people are primarily comprised of warring tribes bent on death and destruction. As such, no other Arab country will let them in, and hasn't for going on 80 years. These countries instead view the Palestinians as useful idiots to be a thorn in the side of Israel. This doesn't fit your worldview, so instead of recognizing these realities, you prefer to think there is a large group of peace-loving Palestinians, perhaps because you know a nice Palestinian guy in LA? Whatever, I'm sorry to tell you, but it is not true.

So depressing. I just don’t get it. I can understand why a bigot or a moron or someone who doesn’t pay much attention would vote for Trump. You strike me as none of these. How could any rational, thinking, aware person do this?

I haven't, and won't even pretend to be knowledgeable about what happens there. I do know that I haven't seen any reported incidents of gun crime from a private sale that happened at a gun show. Not even sure that's a common transaction. I've heard most sales at gun shows go through reputable gun shops that do background checks. But Rusty and @The Real timschochet and other libs seem to have a hard on to go after this "loophole." Even giving them every benefit of the doubt I don't see how it's something that should concern anyone. But mention voter ID to them and it's like you punched their mother in the mouth. It's bizarre to me.

I’m not accusing you of being a sycophant. But I do believe that your political beliefs are affecting your ability to look at this objectively. Biden is an old man. But given his schedule he has more energy than most of us. You called his state of the union speech scripted but his best moments in that speech came off the cuff when he responded to hecklers. There really is no evidence that he is “a zombie with no cognitive ability” using your words. It’s a ridiculous assertion.

I was a successful salesperson in part because I am an astute observer of people. I have been saying that Biden is in cognitive decline since before the 2020 election. Perhaps I err in presuming others can see what is so obvious to me. Carry on accusing me of being a Fox News sycophant.
