Geek Club is one most unusual forums on the net. Pretty much anything goes. Racist comments, anti-gay comments, links to shady sites, you think of it - you can post it... and nobody cares or gets overly sensitive. Some posts I've read here would be an auto-ban in some forums. This is how the internet was supposed to be.

Gas prices went down even more than this a year ago due to the pandemic and people working from home. Now that some states are re-opening and millions are getting vaccinated, people will be driving to work again. Traffic is already starting to pick back up in lots of areas.

Well kunt, may I call you kunt? Anyway kunt, you'll be sad to know that it worked. BTW when I registered I put in my actual birth date and when I got there I gave them my drivers license. What I lied about was clicking "yes" to a subsequent question that asked if I was between 55-64, which made appointment availabilities pop up. They could have turned me down when they checked my license, but they chose not to. I feel pretty good about getting the shot, being a year and change shy of 55 with this pesky throat cancer, radiation after-effects, and breathing through a hole in my neck. Unless you are one of those people that think 55 is some magic number where deaths increase by orders of magnitude vs. 54 (pro science tip: it isn't). My wife as I said is as healthy as a 55 yr old can be but because of an arbitrary go/no-go age, she got in as well. The only reason she did it was because of my risk, otherwise she'd have waited (as would I, as I'm not 100% sold on the safety but for my situation it seems like the right risk/reward tradeoff). 55 yr olds have been able to get vaccines here for weeks -- anyone with any modicum of concern or health issue has had ample opportunity to get it. Also when I signed up it was an hour from the appointment time and there were 10 left, so the odds of them going unused were pretty decent. Anyway, carry on from your cancer-free high horse.
