Dude I quit for 2 and half years and getting close to maybe do it again. I was living my best life before I started back and mean that! It's in you to do it if you want it bad enough! It's all up to you and God gives us free will. If you do quit you will see all the things you missed out on when you was drinking and enjoy them so much! Love ya Bro either path you take!

Fraud in Medicare/Medicaid is, about a 5% problem. It is definitely an issue. But that relatively small issue is a red herring for the REAL issue. Look at the massive profits of for-profit hospitals, health care networks, drug companies, urgent care outlets, and especially the insurance companies. Every dime of profit is money not going to your actual healthcare. Capitalism is great for most things. It isn’t good for healthcare. The U.S. is the only country still clinging to this broken system, and it’s dragging the country down.

I think the Republicans will (reluctantly) restore the subsidies in a week or two. They are gonna get hit by a double whammy: Angry constituents and health insurance lobbyists that will lose billions if people drop out of the marketplace.

If we had govt-paid healthcare and daycare, it would cost a fraction of the cost in taxes because right now there is a LOT of profit-taking in both areas. At which point 140K would be worth a lot more. Privatizing everything has turned out to be a huge lie and ripoff of working Americans.

Glad they’re redacting the names. Imagine how embarrassing it would be if people found out you had sex with Trump for free.

Single payer HC. The consumer no longer needs to pay for the insurer’s marketing, profit margin, administrative costs etc. Hospitals no longer pass the costs of uninsured ER visits on to the consumer. Medical providers no longer need a fleet of billing specialists to deal with dozens of insurers and all their inconsistent requirements. The government negotiated on prices on behalf of the consumer. And people are no longer stuck in jobs for the sake of maintaining HC. I bet a lot more people would open small businesses if their HC wasn’t tied to their employer. If there’s another way to lower prices I’m all for it.

I don't know about corruption, but as someone trying to hire and maintain staff at a large company, the biggest problem now is that we essentially need to overhire staff by 10%-20% to get a normal day's work done. With the personal leave act, people can not show up to work ~40% of the time and still maintain their employment. My department is getting hammered by this.
