I am only alive today because of D-Day. In late 1943 my grandparents fled Bucharest with their 7 year old son (my dad) because the Romanian government, under pressure from Adolf Eichmann and the SS, started putting Jews on the trains for Auschwitz. My grandparents were tipped off by a friendly neighbor and fled into the forest where they lived for nearly a year and almost starved to death. But D-Day forced the Nazis to withdraw from Romania lessened the pressure, allowing my family to leave the forest. They were back in Bucharest by the end of the war and eventually made it to Vienna and from there to Long Beach California. I will be forever grateful to this country and the men who died and gave the world freedom. My mother’s family was here a lot longer (since the turn of the 20th century) and served. I had a great uncle that survived the Bataan Death March.

Total BS. The left has NEVER fought for equality. In the mid 60s when the Civil rights movement was still about equality it was a Republican supported movement with the exception of JFK (the last good Democrat IMHO). Once LBJ and the Democrats took over the civil rights movement they destroyed the idea of equality and pushed for 'equity' which meant entitlements, quotas, possible reprarations, and evolved into the white-hating DEI movement which is an absolute cancer. Democrats hate equality and instead push for government enforced marxist-inspired equity.

It all comes down if the left thinks they can score political points in the polls. All of their talking points about this case has crashed and burn. They keep flooding the media with pictures of the cold-blooded murder in his best Sunday suit to try to stir up empathy for him, but the facts of the case show there was premeditation, he instigated, he had absolutely zero reason to fear he was in danger, and he has no remorse. It is too obvious he is a low-life thug who needs to rot in prison, but who knows. The left has shown they have a really stupid base who can be easily manipulated.
