I admittedly chose the case randomly and did not go looking to cherry pick something that would simply buttress my arguments. This is called operating in good faith. You should give it a try sometime. 2. This has NOTHING to do with muh Biden, so your points about that are irrelevant. 3. How exactly is the story "100% incorrect?" The case happened, lower courts ruled against what the admin was doing, so as is normal with Trump, it went all the way to his friendly SCOTUS. Alito and Thomas are 100% partisan, so they typically go along with anything Trump dictates; this case was no exception. The 6-3 decision stood on an argument that the judiciary could not review the decision of the Secretary (Noem in this case). The curveball is that the judiciary can review and determine whether Noem went through the proper channels prior to canceling TPS. It is under question whether that happened, and what the true motive was for ending the TPS protections. 4. What is also questioned, though not by the majority of course, is whether the decision was made due to racial animus, which was the thrust of the lower court rulings and plaintiff's arguments. Trump's own quotes were the evidence there, along with Noem's. Here's a few of them: Interestingly, the majority seemed to completely ignore these quotes and delivered a victory for cockwomble. who is it really disenfranchising? and why can't the solution be to both secure the elections and then also work to help those "disenfranchised" people vote? What argument against voter ID laws, or auditing voter rolls, or really anything designed to make sure that only american citizens are voting in our elections are impacting or "disenfranchising" a group of voters to such an extent that their party (who cares about them oh so much) can't easily work with them to clear any potential hurdles? Specific to Voter Id Laws... Opposition Opponents of voter ID laws may argue: •Voter identification laws are a burden for many voters. Why? they don't have ID? Why would you not want to have ID? They don't have cars or access to public transportation to get to DMVs? Start a program to help them then... they are your voters. •Voter identification laws harm voter turnout. Why? Because those voters don't have ID?? ...... see above. •Voter identification laws target minorities. Why are anti voter ID people assuming minorities don't have ID? •In-person voter fraud is rare I've already covered this one. Democratic Party wants it to be seen as rare and that it could not impact any election. shouldn't we want all american citizens to have a form of identification and to have it on them at all times?

Conversely, I think those that support SAVE are trying to convince themselves that they're doing the right thing disenfranchising voters in the name of "security." We'll see, though. If it actually passes I suspect there'll be a LOT of pissed off Republicans that will find out too late that they can't vote, either.
