  1. For the normal folks here, there aren't many left btw... If you don't understand the type of sycophant the modern day liberal has become, that's on you. You can't have a rational conversation with these people. They are defending this: Fauci is telling them, by his actions, straight to their faces that he lied to them. He wrote the truth in his professional journal, then told the world the exact opposite. He directed his assistant to delete massive amounts of federal emails, which is illegal, he previously said there were no deletions. He had his government staff, using government equipment, apply and nominate him for monetary awards, which is illegal. Fauci only cares about Fauci, he's everything they claim Trump is, that's why they spend so much time trying to deflect. Liberals can't admit they got took so, they hunker down and defend the indefensible. It's pathetic but, expected. These people have no souls, stop trying to reason with them.

Anybody remember when Rand Paul did this? https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/12/rand-pauls-wife-bought-shares-in-covid-treatment-maker-gilead-as-virus-spread.html Seems like he’s still pissed that his attempt to profit off a pandemic by investing off insider info weeks before it was made public failed miserably.

  8. What a surprise, the biggest bunch of babies on the planet, aka The MAGA cult, dragged in an 85 year old scientist to whine about lockdowns that happened while Trump was president. What a collection of smooth brains. MAGA, ladies and gentlemen, willingly destroying America so some trannie somewhere doesn’t play volleyball.

  13. This is honorable at least & takes guts. Guy has affair with assistant is as old & boring as it gets. With his young immigrant Slavic wife pregnant at home, Trump chased an old pron star in Vegas, rawdogged her, tried to leave her money she - an old sex worker - rejected, then made her sign an NDA, then sued her to enforce the NDA, then used corporate funds to pay her off & didn’t put it on the books, then he loses to her in court, whereupon his old friend & fixer-consigliere reveals all that in a whole other federal investigation, then gets indicted and convicted for tax fraud because of all that. Now that my friend is “wild.”

  16. <<<Anthony Fauci's newly released diary is turning into a pretty rough own goal for the republicans who leaked it, because instead of exposing him as some deep state villain, it mostly shows a scientist working the phones, trusting the evidence, and quietly rolling his eyes at Donald Trump's chaos while trying to keep the country safe. Senator Rand Paul released more than a thousand pages of Fauci's private notes from 2019 to 2022, and Fauci testifies before Paul's committee this week. Paul has framed the release around the idea that what Fauci wrote privately and what he told the country were two different stories. Paul's biggest headline claim does not hold up well under scrutiny. He points to a diary entry where Fauci allegedly acknowledged early on that the virus did not originate at the Wuhan wet market, while publicly backing a paper that pointed to natural spillover from that market, and Paul is using the gap to argue Fauci covered for a lab leak. But the entry Paul is citing actually shows Fauci complaining that conspiracy style letters from members of Congress were an amazing and unbelievable waste of time, which reads like frustration, not confession. A Dartmouth virologist told NPR that scientists being less certain in private than in public is normal, and that solid evidence exists for two separate viral lineages emerging, which actually supports natural spillover. Paul has also repeatedly alleged, without evidence, that NIAID funded gain of function research in Wuhan caused the pandemic, a claim Fauci denies both publicly and in the supposedly damning private diary itself. If Fauci were really hiding something, you would expect the private version to admit it. Instead it says the same thing as the public one. What actually comes through in the diary is a guy trying to steer a president who kept wandering off topic. Fauci repeatedly described Trump's public comments as rambling, noting at one point that Trump would drift into talking about TV ratings while Fauci tried to keep him on track. That is what a competent official sounds like when the man in charge cares more about ratings than case counts. The timing of this outrage cycle is not an accident either. While cable news spends the week over a diary that mostly makes Fauci look diligent, RFK jr is overseeing the worst measles comeback in a generation. The CDC reported 2,318 measles cases in 2026 alone, more than all of 2025 and far beyond the 283 cases in 2024, with the number still climbing. Not to mention the ever-increasing outbreak of diarrhea lettuce. So, dig through Fauci's diary if you want. What you will mostly find is a professional doing his job under an erratic boss, and a senator whose greatest hits don't survive contact with their own footnotes.>>> This guy We’ve had outbreaks of salmonella, cyclosporine, measles, and we have seen recalls of lettuce and beef in recent weeks. Ebola is blowing up in Africa. HHS appears to be unwound.

  27. Trump is the reason American soldiers died. If he didn’t start this war, they would be alive. That is indisputable. And all for a war that has gotten us nothing but higher inflation and decreased defensive capabilities, all while strengthening the hand of a despotic regime. Good news (for him) though… he and his rich friends are profiting off this nicely.

  28. I’ve noticed a few things in this thread as well: - Covid was harmless - we were forced to wear masks or endure others who did! our graduation & bbqs were halted! commerce was shuttered! All unnecessary. Fauci overreacted. - It ***also acted like a bioweapon, and the science was telling Fauci to act sooner but he did not listen to the science, costing the lives of thousands! Or is it millions?!? I’ve seen the word genocide used here more than once. Fauci underreacted. - The MAGAs who say Fauci underreacted don’t argue with those who say he overreacted. - The vaccine killed people. The Mach Speed program was not Trump’s idea at all. - No one else participated in these activities. No one else bears responsibility. Not the President, not the Sec. HHS, not State, not NIH, not the Chinese. Just Fauci. I do appreciate your entries. I wouldn’t have even been interested without that, it encouraged me to look it up. Apparently Paul has been retroactively redacting portions, did you know that? I’ve noticed: - Prior reporting from 2020 about the earlier origins were confirmed, earlier sourcing was known back then. Personally I think that’s the most interesting part. - It took a phone call from Lou Dobbs for Trump to trust Fauci & to get him to reach out to him. That’s maybe the single craziest thing in that diary. - No indication of GOF playing a role in Fauci’s mind. - No role of the lab as a source in his mind. If you look at that 2007 article I posted further up it talks about wet markets & farms as amplifiers, the exact language Fauci’s used years later. - Fauci viewed his popularity & credibility as central in getting people to follow recommendations. It gets silly & narcissistic at times, but let’s face at some point the far right focused on him as a centrality of evil & harm so it became a knot in which he & they are still intertwined to this day.
