It’s a separate issue but in a way not. The DOJ chasing these imaginary dragons is a form of corruption. WW says they are outright lies, fine, that argument - is he crazy? is he a pernicious liar? is he both? - has been going on since 2016. Pick your poison. But regardless the administration goes through hoop after hoop at great cost & at great damage to justify Trump’s personal oleophic gloop of mental & emotional dysfunctions (or ideologically driven propaganda).3 points

Fair enough. However it does show A Fauci influenced the CDC not to release a statement that the CDC believed true because it would affect future pressure to persuade people to get the next and newest booster despite it's very low or no efficacy. It shows Fauci would be not completely forthcoming to influence production and sales of Covid boosters going forward, specifically in the fall of 2022. It takes away the curtain and reveals Fauci is the the Sith Lord we've been looking for. I'm watching Revenge of the Sith right now and that scene just happened. OK, back to the movie.2 points

He's obviously not read it nor is he going to. Watching you respond to his nonsense is highly satisfying. As someone working in healthcare at this time, nobody on the outside with a partisan agenda will ever have a clue what it was like. And they dont want to know because it would require them to reject the narrative they cling to.2 points

3/10/20 - pages 45-46. The indemnification idea is a GOP bill, VP Pence called Fauci and asked him to talk to Pelosi to encourage her to pass the PREP Act. The 2 mask types are really the same with minor differences, and because they didn’t have enough medical the industrial mask manufacturers wanted indemnification to sell to medical users. - It’s hard to imagine you’re actually reading the diary when you post this stuff.2 points

Most transparent administration in history. Big enough to admit they were wrong. Kudos.2 points

Had umbilical hernia surgery yesterday. I went in feeling all introspective. You know, contemplating life, aging, mortality, and whether I’d wake up speaking fluent Chinese from the anesthesia. I woke up in recovery, and my wife was in there while I was getting dressed. Then we both noticed the disposable sheet underneath me had a bunch of brown stuff smeared across it. We saw it at the exact same time. My first thought was immediate: “Oh, hell. Did I sh!t myself in front of the entire surgical team?” Not just a little either. In my anesthesia-addled mind, I had apparently evacuated the premises while six medical professionals stood around pretending not to notice. Then my wife bent down and smelled it. That’s how you know your wife truly loves you. She stood back up and said, “It doesn’t smell like sh!t.” I was appalled. I had also never felt more loved. Turns out, when they shaved my entire belly for surgery, the nurse nicked the side of my stomach. They covered that area with some kind of brown iodine antiseptic, and it rubbed off onto the sheet. So no, I did not sh!t myself during surgery. But for about thirty seconds, I was preparing to leave the hospital, change my name, and start a new life in another state.1 point

I haven’t had enough alcohol to even catch a decent buzz in years. At 52, the bang for the buck just isn’t there anymore. Three+ beers now means I sleep like garbage, wake up hot, bloated, thirsty, and somehow feel like I ate an entire ham before bed. The last few times I was actually drunk, I was bottle-sick with headaches and gut aches for two days, then spent another day or two just wandering around feeling vaguely poisoned. And honestly, it’s just not fun anymore. There was no incident. No intervention. No rock-bottom story. No dramatic “come to Jesus” moment. It just slowly faded away until one day my body looked at alcohol and said, “Meh. No desire at all.” The juice just isn’t worth the squeeze anymore. Anyone else reach the age where drinking started feeling less like recreation and more like scheduling a three-day illness?1 point

Ah now I see your point. Right, vaccinated 81 year old man was worried he might die from Covid. He had mild symptoms, flushed, & a cough. He obviously was fine but nonetheless was prepared to miss his daughter’s wedding. Unlike Pres. Trump who held a super-spreader event after he found out he was sick. He also notes that globally at that point the tally was 535 million cases globally, over 6.3 millions deaths, over 1 million US deaths.1 point

AI Overview The distinction arises from the historical context, origins, and intended purpose of each phrase. "Black Lives Matter" emerged as a civil rights call to address systemic racism and police violence targeting Black individuals. Conversely, "White Lives Matter" was created primarily as a reactive slogan by white supremacist organizations to counter and dismiss that racial justice movement. [1, 2, 3]1 point

Actually I think what might have happened here is there was a real likelihood of whoever appeared in court & signing a pleading getting referred for disbarment by the judge with no defense. And maybe no one would appear. So they dismissed it.1 point

I’m good with the beer still. The heavy ABV, hazy IPA’s can give me some issues the next morning if I have too many. Drink more cocktails and red wine these days and just try and get water in throughout the session. If I don’t drink staying out late socially isn’t as fun.1 point

Can't remember how much I've shared about her illness, but in 2020, she had a small stroke. Kind of ignored it, didn't get treatment. But that's when she started to kind of change. She was in denial, didn't share with us that she had *maybe* lost portions of her vision. Had a larger stroke later that year, diagnosed with Parkinsons. Over the last 6 years, she's had more small strokes, and the one in Sept 2023 is what mostly took away everything. She couldn't walk anymore and was placed into a care home. She continued to get worse and eventually lost the ability to really move, speak, and was bed ridden. Last weekend, her breathing was affected and she went into the ER. Due to having an advanced directive (please get one if you don't have one), and very strict DNR requests, she was made comfortable and passed Tuesday afternoon. I was with her from Sunday to Tuesday the entire time with the exception of a few hours on Monday. No matter how much you think you mentally prepare for this, especially after prolonged illness, it still hits you.1 point

If anybody actually cares about fraud, here’s where most of it comes from: https://theintercept.com/2026/07/31/immigrants-healthcare-medicare-fraud-scam/ He’s got people angry at immigrants while he and his rich buddies are robbing us all blind. Dude...now you're responding to theGeneralRetard too? Here, let me help you out. No matter what the topic I can give you his carbon copy response. It's one of 3 things and it's ALWAYS one of these 3 things: He'll take the opposite of whatever you post if it's not politics He'll ask you why you care as he posts nonstop about it He'll take the DNC Glory Hole Talking Point 100% of the time...EVERY time. Even in the face of all contrary evidence. There. Now whenever you feel the urge to respond to him, just pick one of the 3 bullet points above and craft his argument from that. Now you don't have to respond to him anymore, especially for those of us that have retards on ignore.1 point

Being a conservative, it pains me to say this, but I've always found it humorous how Republicans don't believe in doling out taxpayer money unless it's to a group with incredibly strong lobbyists. (Big Ag) That's why farmers get so many breaks in Minnesota. They've got both sides working for them Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party At a previous forum I belonged to, the subject of ag subsidies came up. One guy emailed me explaining how his uncle played the system here in Minnesota. He told me he farms here, & that every year, he pays very little, if any taxes on approximately $400,000.00 annual income. I asked him if he could be a little more specific on how this was possible ? He farms in Minnesota, between Alexandria & Little Falls. He's college educated & an election judge, too. He's very in tune with politics. I don't think he receives subsidies. He never speaks of that. But that's not to say he doesn't. He writes off anything business related. Any vehicle he buys, any farm equipment, any seed he buys to plant, any equipment parts, his kids, his fuel, his wife. (Just Kidding) He literally writes off anything business related that he can, & gets money back. He gets to what he calls "deducting down to zero” You can't go below zero. He's not what I call evil rich. He lives on, & operates a modest farm. He just knows the tax system.1 point
