  1. He looks excellent on paper. I know he had a big season the last two years as well.

One thing that I found confusing though on his scouting report.

His scouting report said he didn't seem to get separation downfield or had the deep speed, but he was the best deep ball WR in the nation?

for him it was never about talent.  it was an inability to remain healthy.   now coming off a torn Achilles, a rather serious injury after having a number of other soft tissue injuries and torn meniscus.... I think he tore his LCL at one point too. (correct me if I'm wrong or missed anything)

the dude just cannot stay healthy.  when healthy hes looked the part of a true #1 RB but the number of games where hes been fully healthy I can likely count on one hand.

Yeah he did have a bad knee injury before the Achilles tear.

It just depends on if he can bounce back or if he's not the same. It happens. After a few injuries it can certainly take it's toll

I think Nick Chubb will be in that latter category

    this is the key.

I dont think he can do it.  if he wins the starting job, hes maybe a nice late round lotto ticket.  but I wouldnt pay more than that for him

It seems unlikely but sometimes a change of scenery and a different scheme is all it takes

    Signing with Chargers

    That's gonna be very interesting.

The Chargers are a team in which a RB can have a monster fantasy season.

If he can stay healthy, could be in for a big season

Vikings Te Hockensen says that the nfl needs to look into low hits.  Can’t hit them high, can’t hit them low, nfl will be a flag football league soon.

I actually think the kind of hit he's talking about is one they should restrict instead of the others

He's going to get WR1 money. SF has some decisions to make with Purdy coming up on contract, etc.

Somebody's gotta go, Deebo or Aiyuk.

I think Aiyuk will certainly win out in that one.

He's more of a WR1 and he's younger. Deebo is a great offensive player, but he's about 75% WR and 25% RB. Whic is nice of course, but they will need a top WR.

Brazil shouldn't be that big of an issue for the players.  I think their biggest gripe is with time zones.  Sure, it's probably a 12 or 13 hour flight, but I believe Brazil is the same time zone as Green Bay, which is only 1 hour difference for Philly.  These guys fly on premium private charted flights.  They travel in comfort.  This game is a much bigger issue for the fans.

I've flown from Chicago to Brazil, it's about 8-9 hours. Sao Paulo is two hours ahead of Central time. One hour ahead of Philly time.

It shouldn't be a whole different than flying from the coast to coast in the USA.

That used to be my thinking as well but in TE Premium Dynasty you have to have a top 10 TE or you'll get smoked at that position every week.

It obviously doesn't matter as much in redraft but if you can grab a TE like LaPorta who puts up WR numbers then you gotta do it. Win the position.

Yeah in dynasty there's no reason to not go after one unless they're just way to expensive.

It's like every position in dynasty though. Just keep a revolving door of young prospects and keep/trade any that pan out

    You now have them both?

Yes I do. I'm gonna try work some trades though. I may end up trading one, probably Pitts

Or the Cowboys. Whoever goes to the Cowboys is going to be a top 5 dynasty pick, just a bold prediction 😁

There's a good chance they will be 1st or at least the 1st RB.

I remember I had the top pick when Zeke was a rookie, and I got all sorts of offers for him

Not a big te fan, in my redraft leagues I don’t draft a te until the double digit rounds, but I don’t think I would have traded away Laporta who if he stays healthy could be the top scoring ff te for years to come.  But you did pick up nine spots for your draft.

He completely saved my team this past season after another dud from Kyle Pitts...

  12. The NFL is much more popular in Brazil than it is in Europe.

Sao Paulo is the largest city in the Western Hemisphere.

They shouldn't have any issues selling out.

The fact that it's a big game, between two potential contenders goes to show how big a market the NFL thinks they're tapping into.

if he didnt have high powered lawyers that may have happened.   but a lot of times the DA wont press charges against someone who will lawyer up unless you are sure you can make it stick.  once the lawyers get involved there is a large cost to the taxpayer and if that large cost doesnt have a good chance of bringing a conviction why spend the money?

Thats what big money gets you.   perhaps a bit more leniency due to the potential of lawyers getting involved and mucking things up.

I don't see this going to trial since there's so much evidence and he's basically admitted to driving the car.

They will likely charge him with as serious charges as they can so they can plea down to something lesser.

They say he's facing up to 20 years, but that's not gonna happen. I doubt he does any time.
