  1. If you have the room to add him do it. Alot of fans that call in to Houston radio think Jacoby desevers a shot at the #2 spot. As a Houston fan I think of Jocoby as another Andre Davis. He's not really a #2 wr but does have the ability to have some good games. If he's going to be your 4th wr why not take a shot and be the guy that said I told you so.

Just courious who would you drop to get him?

I would be dropping RB Lendale White.....who i have only been holding on to because I thought he may change teams in the off season

  2. Madd,

I always respect your opinions, but I think you will be wrong here. Without Daniels, Schaub will substitute Walter for that player. You saw it last week in the 2nd half against Colts. Schaub went to who in crunch time? Walter. He caught 5 all in the 2nd half.

Walter is a huge red zone target too. He is much more a sure thing than the talented JJ. The latter is iffy, but yes, he is definitely more explosive. Too chancy for my liking. Give me the sure 10 points guy who has upside for 2 TDs any day.

I also like Kevin Walter. I just also believe that he is not the same receiver that he was last year.

He very well could be Schaub's guy in the red zone, but Jacoby is about the same size as Walter.

I just have a hunch that as the season goes on, that Jacoby becomes more involved each week and i like him as a Dynasty player.

Since I am looking for a number 4 receiver....I will always favor the upside as I beleive Jones could become a star so to speak, where I believe Walter is what he is.

Jones has more TD's so far and I think Schaub is gaining more confidence in him. Also he could break a return for a TD any time and I am in a TD league.

    This is just my opinion.

  3. I think I am going to try to pick him up next week.

He is just so explosive and he can take it to the house every time he touches it.

He has also made a big play in the passing game for like the last 3 games.

He would be my number 4 WR anyway....so why not roster him before he BREAKS out......I am in a dynasty so he could be a keeper next year....who knows.

  4. Does anybody here think that WR jacoby Jones has a shot at moving up to the #2 WR at Houston.

I am thinking about picking him up in my league....it is a TD ONLY league and my wWR are sidney Rice and Nate Burleson and Dallas Clark

after watching highlights of this kid, he just seems way more explosive and talented that Kevin Walter.

Does anybody else here feel this?

  5. I think they will all 3 be used....but Ray Rice is Harbaugh's guy....he drafted him....he did not have anything to do with the deal they did for Mcgahee.

I really believe that barring injuries, Ray Rice is just what Harbaugh is looking for.....good runner between the tackles, can bounce it outside, and is very powerful.....not to mention his pass catching skills....I believe he will catch 50 passes.....maybe even lead the team in receptions....I just hope he can run 4 or 5 td's in and catch another 3 or 4 ....then he will be a great RB for me.

He almost already has the 50 passes I thought he would catch

  6. Do NOT sell this guy.

The guy is a workaholic and is solid as a rock......next year you will be watching one of the top 5 backs in football....YES, I SAID IT!!!

This guy is awsome, he can get to the outside and he runs between the tackles with alot of ower and is low to the ground.....not great speed, but still good speed.....kind of reminds me of Emmitt.

I have this guy in my Dynasty league and could not be happier.......the Vikings are tough against the run, so what he did to them was very impressive, in my book.

He sure was Ray "Long Gain" Rice vs the vikings!

  7. My point is that he did not have the injury going into the bye week. Then coming off a bye week, he has an injury on the first day of practice. Put 2 & 2 together.....It may just be a Benson type thing or it may be more. HTH

Well, according to the Saints website, the hamstring has been an ongoing thing for awhile....so yes, he did have this going into the bye week......obviously it is not a major problem, and I look for him to play in a big game this week.....and I believe this is why he is not practicing.

  8. Easy fella's....one thing you guys have to remember is that this is football that these guys are playing....it is a CONTACT sport......EVERYBODY has some sort of minor injury or aches and pains....that is the NATURE of this game.

To take a wendsday practice off, when you have the Giants coming to town is nothing to get excited about.....Geesh....chill out.....Half of the league does not practice on Wendsday, and some even take thursday off........it is just PRACTICE!!!!!

  9. They'll score against the Bengals, they always do. 2007...Fry gets traded and Anderson steps in for his first start ever. 50+ points later.....

I do not think they will score over 10 points vs the Bengals.

I have been a browns fan all my life...I am 51 years old......belive me when I say, THIS IS THE WORSE BROWNS TEAM I HAVE EVER SAW!!!!

Stay clear of all players...you have been warned!
