Do NOT sell this guy.
The guy is a workaholic and is solid as a rock......next year you will be watching one of the top 5 backs in football....YES, I SAID IT!!!
This guy is awsome, he can get to the outside and he runs between the tackles with alot of ower and is low to the ground.....not great speed, but still good speed.....kind of reminds me of Emmitt.
I have this guy in my Dynasty league and could not be happier.......the Vikings are tough against the run, so what he did to them was very impressive, in my book.
He sure was Ray "Long Gain" Rice vs the vikings!
-
My point is that he did not have the injury going into the bye week. Then coming off a bye week, he has an injury on the first day of practice. Put 2 & 2 together.....It may just be a Benson type thing or it may be more. HTH
Well, according to the Saints website, the hamstring has been an ongoing thing for awhile....so yes, he did have this going into the bye week......obviously it is not a major problem, and I look for him to play in a big game this week.....and I believe this is why he is not practicing.
-
Yes, but THE fact of the MATTER is that they didn't PLAY last WEEK. They were ON bye so he HAD a full week of REST and all OF a sudden he pops UP on the injury REPORT.
Yes...so what is your point....Jonathan Stewart is on the injury report every week......so are alot of other players
-
Easy fella's....one thing you guys have to remember is that this is football that these guys are playing....it is a CONTACT sport......EVERYBODY has some sort of minor injury or aches and pains....that is the NATURE of this game.
To take a wendsday practice off, when you have the Giants coming to town is nothing to get excited about.....Geesh....chill out.....Half of the league does not practice on Wendsday, and some even take thursday off........it is just PRACTICE!!!!!
-
Almost any QB that would have RB Adrian Peterson on his team and a defense like the Vikings would say that.
I believe you Brett....you have NEVER been surrounded by so much talent....NUFF SAID!
-
At 6'4" tall...I like how Rice leads the team in Red Zone Targets....he scored a TD in each of the last 2 weeks and almost had 2 last monday night against the Packers.
-
Who thinks Nicks can bypass Manningham on the depth chart?
-
I am thinking about trading for Nicks....I like his upside and think he could be their number 2 receiver opposite Smith.
Do you guys like his upside over all other giants receivers, other than Smith?
-
TD only league.
Who has the best chance at a TD this week
Nate Burleson at Indy......or....Chris Henry at Browns
-
CHRIS HENRY
-
They'll score against the Bengals, they always do. 2007...Fry gets traded and Anderson steps in for his first start ever. 50+ points later.....
I do not think they will score over 10 points vs the Bengals.
I have been a browns fan all my life...I am 51 years old......belive me when I say, THIS IS THE WORSE BROWNS TEAM I HAVE EVER SAW!!!!
Stay clear of all players...you have been warned!
-
I agree with Baltimore.
Joe Flacco seems to have the "IT" factor and they have a great defense, most importantly, under Harbaugh this team is not satisfied with field goals any longer.
This offense is looking to put points on the board, and if they continue to do so with this defense, they are goona be dangerous and difficult for anyone to beat.
-
If you think Andre Caldwell will get more playing time than Chris Henry, then you are oblivious to the situation.
You saw the tape....what do you really think.....if you think Caldwell is the ansewer...then that is your decision.
To me....this is not even an issue.......it is pefectly clear to me who the better player is here, and it is not even close.
-
I play in a TD only league and i benched Lendale White for him....and I am loving my decision right now.
Run Ray Ray Run!!!!!
-
Chris Henry will be on the field alot for this team. He is the only other playmaker they have at WR.
It won't be long until Coles moves into the slot and Henry will have the outside spot.
He is a playmaker and if the bengals want to have a chance to win games...Henry must be on the field.
That depth chart stuff is just to get his attention and to get him to block on running plays and to hustle, even when the ball is not coming to him.
I think he has gotten that message loud and clear.
The guy is 6'4" and runs right past defenders, has great hands.....he will be on the field alot......I mean...the bengals dont even throw towards a tight end.
-
I have been in a TD only league since 1990.....I just love it.
1. if you can get one of the WR that score double digit TD's....grab him 1st....just if its Moss....Fitz....Calvin Jiohnson
2. Get a nice pair of RB with a nose for the end zone.......Lendale would makw an awsome number 2 RB
3. Get a QB in the first cople of tiers ....dont wait and be stuck with a qb that will only throw 15td passes.
4. This may just pertain to our league...we get one point per sack and turnover for our defense....so I always try to get a defense that produces sacks, as they are very valuble in our league.
Our team is a keeper league and has 14 teams. Every year you can keep up to 6 players...so the draft is really important to get some young talent.
My team
QB KURT WARNER
QB JAY CUTLER
RB DEANGELO WILLIAMS
RB PIERRE THOMAS
RB LENDALE WHITE
RB RAY RICE
WR/TE DALLAS CLARK
WR/TE CHRIS HENRY
WR/TE GREG OLSON
WR/TE CHRIS CHAMBERS
K NICK FOLK
K JOHN CARNEY
D COWBOYS
D TEXANS
The Strength of my team is my RB....I am hoping to get alot of td's from this group as my theory is to play them by using the schedule each week, and using the rb's that have the easy schedule.
-
i am thinking he will get 20 touches a game, runs and passes.....maybe more in some games.
-
No receiver on the Giants roster has more ability than Hakeem Nicks....NOBODY!!
-
I think Rice scores a TD in week #1, at home against the Chiefs
-
I think they will all 3 be used....but Ray Rice is Harbaugh's guy....he drafted him....he did not have anything to do with the deal they did for Mcgahee.
I really believe that barring injuries, Ray Rice is just what Harbaugh is looking for.....good runner between the tackles, can bounce it outside, and is very powerful.....not to mention his pass catching skills....I believe he will catch 50 passes.....maybe even lead the team in receptions....I just hope he can run 4 or 5 td's in and catch another 3 or 4 ....then he will be a great RB for me.
-
Jello Williams is one of the top 5 running backs in the league....period....NUFF SAID!
-
Anybody that actually watches this kid and can not tell that he is the real deal, is blind.
I mean seriously, this kids vision, ability to to stop on a dime, cutback across the grain, break tackles and just for good measure, he never fumbles.....he is something special.
Plain and simple , he has what I call the "IT" factor.
-
I like Hakeem Nicks......below are his strong points, and why I like him.
1. Best hands in the draft......there is a reason for that....they are HUGE....they had to ghet the kid XXXXL gloves!!! Big hands and he knows how to use them.
2. Ability to run after the catch....i believe this is his 2nd best quality.
3. Has the knack for getting seperation
I am not saying he is going to emerge right away, and some other receivers will probly be better this year.......but in 2 or 3 years he will arrive big time......just my opinion.
