    Fields or Stroud

1pt/25PaYds, 1pt/10RuYd, 6 pt/TD, -2/int, -6/pick-6 fields has been awful, but has a decent matchup versus Broncos team that just gave up 70. stroud has been much better, but faces a stingy Steelers defense (3rd best in our league).

    Second Pick

Good morning FFTODAY! It’s Draft Day and I’ve got the second pick in a 12-team, half point PPR league. Conventional wisdom suggests I take (PPR God) Christian McCaffery, but he seems to be the epitome of an “injury risk” who is one play away from sinking my season. Last night I started talking myself into drafting Ekeler instead (better team, less wear and tear, also PPR stud). I was hoping some of you could chime in on which player you’d take in this spot, or if you’d go another direction entirely (Henry?). Leave a link and I’ll respond to your thread. Good luck this season!
  3. I’ve got a few options: Eli Manning vs MIA Jacoby Brissett @ NO Matt Ryan @ SF Ryan Fitzpatrick @ NYG 1 pt/25 PaYd; 6pt/TD, -2/Int

Which QB Wins in the Semi’s

Ultimately I didn’t have the guts to start Eli, benching him for Matt Ryan instead.
  5. I better is possible, good is not enough

Which QB Wins in the Semi’s

I’ve got 10 minutes to decide. Is there anyone out there crazy enough to start Eli over Matty-Ice?

Which QB Wins in the Semi’s

I just noticed my career fantasy record is also one game below .500. Is that serendipitous enough of a reason to start Eli?

Which QB Wins in the Semi’s

He’s been my starter all season but that matchup against the 49ers D (even without three starters in the secondary) worries me. I picked up Brissett earlier in the week but dropped him for Eli this morning (final home game, good/great matchup, need to win to get career record back to .500 is all very appealing).

Which QB Wins in the Semi’s

I need points. The team I’m playing against led the league in scoring and has good matchups. My team was among the lowest scoring. I’m trying to turn that around today.
  10. I’ve got some horrible matchups this week in a must win game. I’m currently in 3rd place but if things break the wrong way this weekend, I can drop to 6th and out of the playoff picture. Pick one RB Drake was named the starter for today’s game against the 49ers and their 4th stingiest run defense. Hyde has it a little easier as the Texans take on 11th best run defense. Pick one WR John Brown has a decent matchup against the Dolphins awful pass defense but he’s only scored double digits twice (Wks 1, 7). Emmanuel Sanders has looked good since being traded to SF, but he’s banged up for this matchup against the Cardinals. Non-PPR Any help is appreciated. Leave a link.

    Leveon today?

I don’t think ED is enough to keep a player of Bell’s caliber out.

    I have 4 starting backs...need 3...

    Bell, Coleman, and Singletary

    TE Help

I’m currently starting Dawson Knox but there are several options on free agency like Jinny Graham, Tyler Eifert, Jared Cook, Jack Doyle, and Noah Fant. Graham has the most name recognition, plays on maybe the best offense, and should see an uptick in targets with Devonte Adams our this week. Would any of you drop Knox for Graham (or any of the other guys I mentioned)? Leave a link and I’ll help you out. Thanks.

    TE Help

I’m thinking more along the lines of situations like this in which I’m debating guys who are all projected to score between 6.7 points and 8.3.

    TE Help

I was thinking along the same lines...but in favor Graham. Dude, this is my luck too. I think it’s why I’m reluctant to drop Knox. A recent article on ESPguessN makes the point that Knox has shown good chemistry with both Allen and Matt Barkley, and that he’s earned more opportunities, so maybe he’s got as much upside as anyone else I’ve mentioned and I don’t have to do anything Is there an “overthinking things” thread?

    Will Dissly

Will Dissley is the best Seahawks TE since Zach Miller, and he might actually be a better receiver than Miller. If somehow he’s still available in your league, get him on your roster!

Unfortunately, I need to start 2...

I agree w/ RabidSeaCows. Wait and see if Diggs starts. If he does, I like him and Tate. Singletary and Tate if he doesn’t. See mine:

    TE Help

    Non PPR, decimal scoring (.1pts/yard)

    AP roster spot

With AP on IR (w/ an outside chance of him returning in time for fantasy playoffs), would you drop him to free up a roster spot (that could be used to add a guy like Jordan Howard)?
  20. Standard scoring.
  21. This was the most recent story I could find on Ware. I was really rooting for him to make the team this summer.

Must Win - Brees or Cousins

I'm 1-5 but only 2 games back with half the season to play. For my turnaround to start today, I need to knock off the second place team in our league. Standard scoring, with bonus points based on length of TDs, 300/400 yards passing, etc.. Leave a link for my $0.02. Thanks.
  23. As for Percy: If it is true that he punched Golden Taint during Super Bowl week, and/or if it true that he tried to fight Russell Wilson earlier this season, then he is a douche bag and shouldn't be rewarded with the opportunity to represent Seattle, the Seahawks, or the 12th Man. In a season that has given us Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, Ray McDonald, and Adrian Peterson, if the reports involving Harvin/Taint/Wilson are true, than I applaud the Seahawks for washing their hands of a player with this reputation. Let us not forget the report that he physically assaulted his position coach while at the University of Florida. http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2012-04-09/urban-meyer-florida-ohio-state-ncaa-violation-recruiting-drugs-program-will-musc#ixzz1rZgtzOmg Second, he played in only 6 of 21 regular season games for the Seahawks. While his kickoff return in the Super Bowl was electric, the game was already a blowout when it happened. Take away his two fly sweeps and he was virtually held off the stat sheet (one catch, five yards). While this doesn't take into account other things the Seahawks were able to exploit simply because of his presence, it supports the argument that the Seahawks were able to get to the Super Bowl without him, and win it without him. Lastly, "I'M IN" applies to every member of the Seahawks organization, from the ticket sales representative, to the equipment manager, through the coach and front office and team and up to the owner. If you read his book Win Foreveryou know Pete Carroll stresses no individual is bigger than the program. Those who think otherwise are dealt with. Apparently Percy was not "in. Exhibit A: taking extended time recovering from injury during the 2013 regular season, Exhibit B: reportedly pulling himself during the fourth quarter of the Cowboys game.
