My feeling was that you probably will. This is really the reason that I decided to find someone to run my draft, rather than pre-draft everything. It allows flexibility and potential as we go into the end rounds. And Rick is experienced and savvy - I'm in pretty good hands.
-
Fully agree. Everyone has been doing a great job. bgsgfan - A disclaimer (excuse) for my draft time, which probably affects a couple of others as well: I have at least twice caught the night time going into my pick, severely hurting my pick time average. Very good job by all.

I liked the Justin Gage pick, even if you made it as a homer. He should be a solid addition. (and he likely wouldn't have made it another round).
-
So long as you don't step over the 6-hour limit, you'll be good. But pre-drafting just in case isn't a bad idea, simply so that you protect yourself should we get that far. You can then delete them if you get back ahead of time.

Have we heard anything from Proteus?

Any interest in swapping 6th and 7th round picks?

Grey - you're up again.

So how long do we wait? I like grace . . . I believe in grace. However, the selfish side of me is a bit frustrated. We are starting the draft earlier than last year so that we can make it through in a timely fashion. We are keeping a decent pace, but things like this drag us down quickly.

This is even easier . . . Make your list, check the keeper list against, and DELETE the keepers (after you've pre-drafted your own, of course). If you find yourself then wondering why one of those players isn't on your list, reference the keeper list, because somebody else probably had the same idea.

To make sure I understand the ruling correctly: When an owner drafts someone else's keeper, the draft continues, with that owner being forced to draft a replacement from whatever pool remains. Is this right? So Fantasy God and Grey Theory can replace their picks, but neither could select Todd Heap, as he has since been taken . . . as an example.

I don't think that it's about anything you don't know. I just looked at my options and thought he had the most upside and potential. There are others who are probably "safer," but if Quentin locks down the starting job, then his upside is higher than the rest. A little "boom or bust", but between him and Foster, I'm thinking that I'm okay for a #2 RB spot.

Very much better than last year. I very much appreciate it.

NAn - Hush. I might still be able to pull off the even swap.
-
NAn - If it's any consolation to you - you weren't going to get him, even if Grey Theory passed on him. I had those two backs targeted at 2.12. Feel better now?

Hines Ward? Who would take Hines Ward in the 2nd Round??? He sucks! He should have fallen at least another half a round. I'll tell you you what . . . because I'm such a nice guy, I'll just take him off your hands and you take my next pick. But only because I'm a nice guy, and I feel your pain.

I may take advantage of that . . . I'll let you know by Tuesday.
-
That's what I was banking on . . .
-
It could be worse, bgsgfan. I'll be pre-drafting an entire week . . .
-
And I am soooo glad. If you gone against the grain, and taken Randy Moss, I would have cried. As it stands, I can feel pretty good about my trade. Thank you.

This pace really sucks . . . Sucks worse because of the impending week off, and knowing that there is no way on earth that we will finish this in a week.
