    Tajae Sharp

the argument against: - plays on a run first (and second) team - is in a competition for targets (even if he starts) with veteran receivers and/or guys that got paid to come in and play (Delanie Walker, Rishard Matthews, AJ, Kendall Wright, Harry Douglas, Justin Hunter) - he is a 5th round rookie

    Keenan Allen v Brandon Marshall

I'm going with Allen, although you can't really go wrong with either. The age is a factor, but also the defenses. The chargers are bad on D and are going to be playing catch-up a lot. The jets are pretty good on D and they also have forte who is going to factor into the passing game now, as well as Decker still being there. Marshall is 32 and has to start slowing down eventually. Not saying it's going to happen this year, but if you've got 2 guys that are so close, you've got to use something to differentiate.
  3. they are not going to put their rookie QB out there with an inexperienced rookie RB who can't pass protect. helloooooo asiata will be the every down back for the rest of the year

Does anyone trust Cam Newton this week vs Balt?

don't ask me why, but i have a good feeling about Cam this week vs. Baltimore. i know they have ladarius webb back, and jimmy smith is there (idk why JT is saying you won't get a better matchup), and Cam is hobbled, but i just think he will have a good game against them.
  5. I would like to nominate kenny stills. I think he gets a long TD against da boys.
  6. nope. mckinnon was a college QB and he has 0 experience pass blocking. i don't see how he takes passing downs away from asiata. i also don't see how he takes goal line work away from asiata. add to the equation the fact that they are playing new orleans IN new orleans (when the saints are 0-2 and they haven't been home yet), and this SHOULD be set up for asiata to get a bunch of work. i think minny gets down big and early. they SHOULD be playing catch-up all game. but hey, this is the nfl, nothing is certain.
  7. I wanted to sit him last week and i left him in. put sammy watkins on the bench this week they are going against San Francisco. Assuming Palmer isn't playing again, what do you do this week ?

Why is Bernard Pierce ranked so low?

probably has something to do with them being at the Browns

Who will Revis cover this week?

James Jones? uhh who is oakland's other receiver? Andre Holmes?

    Thoughts on Kenny Britt?

Anyone watch the Rams game yesterday? I know he got 3 targets and no catches. How did he look with Hill in the first half as opposed to Davis in the 2nd? Was he just a victim of the poor offense or is he done?

    Gio owners concerned?

Last year BJGE had 220 carries and 7 TDs with 4 catches. Gio had 170 carries and 5 TDs with 56 catches. This year, you'd figure those would get flipped and gio would have 220 to Hill's 170. Hill is a rookie after all. I don't think they're going to give him equal carries to gio. So, being that Hill averaged 4.6 ypc in preseason, and generously assuming he'll do that in the regular season, he would have about 782 rushing yards. Assuming he's the goal line back, let's say 5 or 6 TDs to go along with the yards. Is that what you guys consider a steal?

Any confidence in Big Ben this year?

i don't have him this year but i think it's smart to pair him with kaep or russ. he gives you a high floor while the other guys have a higher ceiling.

    Mathews and Jennings

yeah, to me it's jennings by far. mathews will have to share with 2 guys and never plays passing downs. forget about ppr though, even in a standard league this is a no brainer. mathews is always hurt as well. the giants situation is just much cleaner. get jennings and handcuff him with andre williams later.

How Well Do You Trust Emmanual Sanders?

pretty sure sanders is going to be a stud this season. he's a good receiver and denver specifically targeted him in free agency. there's a reason for that. they knew exactly what they wanted. peyton will put him to work.

    Third Year WR's

I am pretty heavily invested in Floyd this year. Took him ahead of Roddy, AJ and that group. Same with Patterson. I also really like Hopkins and T. Williams. T Will is in a much better situation, but I don't think Fitz is any worse than Schaub. He'll be able to at least toss the ball in Nuke's general vicinity. lol I am a Giants fan and am not super high on Randle. He seems out of sync with Eli. A lot of Eli's interceptions last year were due to miscommunication with Randle. I saw the same thing this year in preseason. How they could still not be on the same page is beyond me. That being said, he should still have a pretty good year. He's pretty much our only red zone option. And with Beckham not being able to get on the field at all, he should see plenty of targets. For better or worse, I want not part of Wright. I am completely comfortable letting other people take him.
