Any fellow board members in this year's tourney? If so how's your draft going thus far?

Yeah divisions definitely matter haha. The last two years I did the live drafts in Atlanta. Back to doing the online one this year and man it's such a different experience, particularly when you're OTC and able to see the ADP trends in live time, do a bit more in-depth research on scoring projections etc. I decided to fade tight ends this year. I know everyone is excited about the TE premium aspects, but imho TE premium isn't enough of a booster to start reaching on guys like David Njoku, Dallas Goedert, etc. Sure the top-tier guys are in a great spot, but I think people go a little crazy when they hear "premium" on a position that is generally so-so relative to the other positions. I got sniped in the 4th round. I really wanted Pacheco in this scoring format. Had to end up abandoning my RB-heavy start. Right now we're still in round 9. Drafting from the 1.04 position: 1.04 - CMC 2.09 - Saquon Barkley 3.09 - Travis Etienne 4.04 - Brock Purdy 5.09 - Davante Adams 6.04 - Mike Evans 7.09 - Rashid Shaheed 8.04 - Matt Stafford

    2024 Top 10 Rbs - let's discuss

I don't necessarily believe they'll finish the season as top-10 RBs, but there's a few darts right now that wouldn't surprise me at all if they were in the mix as high-end RB2's or RB1s: D'Andre Swift (RB22) - Training camp will be interesting to follow to see how involved Herbert and Roschon are. Zack Moss (RB27) - Probably the most egregious ADP right now. My guess is by the time Labor Day hits his ADP is significantly higher. A best-ball draft target for sure in May/June/July for me. Gus Edwards (RB40) - Harbaugh loves running the rock. Someone to keep an eye on is also rookie Kimani Vidal. But someone from the Chargers backfield is going to get more run than the others. Kendre Miller (RB45) - Injury plagued rookie season. Kamara is another year older. Rico Dowdle (RB50) - Zeke lmao

    Another dynasty question

I would feel comfortable making that trade if you replace Adams with Kupp...but either way your team definitely has a lot of aging assets and your mentality should be focused on one of two things: Win now with those assets or sell them off while their value is still near its higher point. Essentially trading Kupp for Jeudy, Love and a 1st isn't a terrible haul if that first is going to be a high one. If it's a late 1st I'd say absolutely not.

    Detroit TE Sam LaPorta

LaPorta should be the TE2 behind Kincaid in rookie drafts. How soon after just depends on league settings imho. TEP? I could get behind him being a late 1st rookie pick (1.10-1.12) but I'd prefer him in the 2nd personally. I'm not in love with the running backs around that range though. In non-TE premium dynasty I think I'd prefer a league with a taxi squad I could stash him in, and then I'd probably throw a dart in the mid-late 2nd. As most have mentioned, it's a tough position for 1st-3rd year guys to break out at. In redraft he will definitely be a "sleeper", and as camps start and buzz picks up people will surely hype him as a zero-TE darling if folks are passing on the position. But honestly in redraft I'm not taking a backup tightend. I'll play week-to-week if punting the position or just stick with a Freiermuth/Njoku kind of guy.

Taking a flier on a backup RB question?

Kinda dislike both tbh, but in this case I'd keep Strong. I think he can get some run as a hurry up offense / change of pace back. Honestly for Indy, i kinda like a different backup there. Evan Hull might steal some snaps from Moss as time goes on this season.
  24. He's the most talented WR of this year's class, even if the landing spot might not be as appealing for 2023-24. Talent > situation
