Start Em' Or Sit Em' Week 4

Exactly my feeling Chocolate Town, I see Buffalo grabbing the lead early and pounding Lynch too bad I don't have him this week. Thanks for the feedback.

Trent Edwards over Kurt Warner. They both have great matchups this week but the consensus seems to be pointing to Edwards but I just think Warner is going to outproduce Edwards this week. Thoughts?

He is referring to a marketing persona for a basketball player with same name the player dressed up as a grandma and beat people down in hoops.

    Mbiii

Watching the Green Bay game as he ran through and over their D and the camera focused tight on him late in the fourth quarter he didn't even look one bit winded, he wasn't even breaking a sweat. I was wondering the same thing myself up to that point. Besides the stains all over his uniform you wouldn't even have known he had more than a couple of carries. It eased all my concerns.

    With Green replacing Bulger

Lloyd isn't on our waiver wire, as a matter fact the best options on WW in this league are Ike Hilliard, Hackett and Ginn Jr. Not exactly a stellar group. I'm not desperate at receiver since I have Chris Chambers, Jericho Cotchery and Donald Driver but I would definitely feel better with one standout guy in that position. Oh I feel for ya. I am very familiar with how bad the Rams are this season. I'm just glad I don't have Steven Jackson on the roster. I just wonder if that offensive line could possibly get it together. Trent Green has spent alot of time in Al Saunders' offense. I just have this prevailing feeling that he is going to make quicker decisions than Bulger and if he can get even a little better play from the line I could see a big bump in all Rams offensive production. It hasn't been that long ago that Green was one of the most prolific passers in the NFL. I know it was before he got his "brains scrambled" but I just get this feeling that he is going to spark that offense. I know I'm in the minority, maybe even soitary but I guess we'll just have to see how things shake out this weekend.

Production up, down about as pathetic? I've been offered Holt and McGahee for MJD and if Holt could get back to his production years past it would really help me at receiver where I am struggling. Wonder how everyone sees this situation.

    Huge break up!

zebras blew jackson call on monday

No it's not different for QBs I don't know where you got that from but it's incorrect. Dead ball is dead ball no matter who is or was holding it when the whistle blows. The play is over. If any Dallas player had picked up the ball following the whistle it wouldn't have changed posession. But it is a good idea to pick up the ball anytime it is on the turf just in case the play hasn't been whistled dead. Of course it's an even better idea to cross the goal line before you begin acting like a jackass in any situation.

More proof that there are only two franchises that count

You obviously know nothing about football if you think the Dallas Texans are the Cowboys' "predecessor" they are the Kansas City Chiefs "predecessor". HTH!!!
  10. GRAPHIC VIOLENCE

    McNabb vs. Romo

Romo blamed himself for his bonehead play in the endzone. McNabb went to the sideline jumped on Westbrook for fumbling the exchange he screwed up. Romo=Leader McNabb=Biatch ROMO>McNabb
  11. GRAPHIC VIOLENCE

    Earnest Graham vs. Maurice Jones-Drew

Hey Jack it's not that damn hard... just hand him the mutha fockin ball! We need to find a way to get him touches? Dammit put it into the damn game plan.
  12. GRAPHIC VIOLENCE

    Time to trade for LT?

It's a toe, it sounds so insignificant but in reality it is huge. RBs put alot of pressure on the big toe making cuts and driving through tackles. Not only is he going to be robbed of power and speed but like any injury it forces strains in other areas of the body. I would sell to the highest buyer right now if you're in a redraft. Right now there might be a few owners out there that are optimistic about the situation as you can see by the group holding out hope in this thread. In two or three weeks as the situation deteriorates the price will completely bottom out. I would be looking to buy high on Sproles right now. Sure you're going to be paying for the production he has had recently but I think that price is only going to go up. Just think back a few years ago when Deion Sanders suffered from turf toe, he struggled all season.

I took MBIII at #4 and was laughed at

Exactly, take Bush for instance he is an elusive back that tries to avoid contact at all cost and he has just as much chance of going down as any back in the league.

    My fellow former Brady Owners......

Hey don't feel bad my own brother tried to rape me for Eli Manning, Eli not Peyton - he has both. I guess there is no family when it comes to fantasy football. I felt lucky to get Warner since I didn't even have top waiver priority.
  15. GRAPHIC VIOLENCE

    My fellow former Brady Owners......

Sounds alot like my situation. I drafted Brady in a salary cap keeper league and then waited on the backup so ended up with Bulger. We all know how bad that was looking. So to stop the bleeding Iwent after Kurt Warner, hopefully the band-aid works. I was feeling pretty good about my team following the draft but things quickly went downhill.\ Brady = Out for season knee Barber = bright spot but even he missed half of first game MJD = way underperformed week 1 Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson = days after draft the shoulder injury and he really didn't give me any confidence with his first week Jericho Cotchery = decent start hope the owner with the voodoo doll has become bored with my team Vernon Davis = I was drinking the Mike Martz kool'aid Nick Folk = high powered offense should at least see alot of PAT Philly D = last round and they were the best squad left Bench Bulger....ugh, Ray Rice...holding out hope, Donald Driver...he would have had a decent total if the TD held up, Sidney Rice...somebody has to produce besides Peterson, Chris Chambers...he kills me every year and yet somehow I still end up with him, Ronnie Brown...it's a keeper league so maybe he gets healthy by next season, Tim Hightower... may get goal line work all season and could end up with it all by the end of the season. I was feeling pretty good about my starters initially but had to already make some adjustments with Warner in for Brady, and Driver taking over for Ocho Cinco for now unless Chambers or Rice show me something. My chances certainly aren't as good now and it might be a long season.
