100yds and 2TDs or the equivalent from AP. I think that it's pretty funny that there are probably a lot of seasons coming down to Monday Night Football and resting on the concensus #1 FF pick in most drafts this year. I guess we'll see just how smart we are and how good he really is.

I started the Saints vs TB over the Jets based on one of those recommendation sites as the final factor. I had a gut feeling that they'd be playing all out with the Colts coasting with bench players, but I mean the Saints are still playing for the #1 seed and it's the Bucs... Cost me 11 points and I'm down by 22 with Peterson left tonight. May have cost me. I can't honestly say that it was an obvious choice though. If you did it and it worked you look like a genious though.

Yeah, I'd say that between that and the fact that they haven't been hitting on all cylinders the last few weeks they need to work on getting some things tonight. I will say that given how the Panthers beat down the Giants this weekend I feel a lot better about Peterson getting it done tonight.

Just wondering if the beat down they put on the Giants changes anyone's opinion of the Vikings being on the downslide? I mean the Giants have been up and down this season, but with everything at stake they got romped. At least the Vikings were in the game for most of it. Just shows that any given sunday....and without an interception throwing machine what a team can do.

I need 100 and 2TD's and this is the first week where it really comes down to him...so I am obviously not going to add any mojo to your thread. If he can't get it done this week with all the circumstances (average defense, saying they are committed to the run and a potential #1 seed) then their season is over.

Head to head is the only way to do it. Part of the strategy is to find a group of players that are going to be playing hard and getting those good matchups late in the season. Without the strategy for the late season push you miss a lot of drama and fun...plus I don't think that you get the rivalries that you get in head to head. This is the 3rd time that me and my opponent are in the title game and this is the tie-breaker. Almost 8 years in this league and it's easily the best rivalry in the league. If it was points only an entirely different owner would have won already.

How many others here have their championship hopes riding on the overwhelmingly popular Peterson? It's pretty ironic that it comes down to him for my season and that he needs about 100yds and 2TD's to bring me another trophy. It's not going to be easy, but I do like the matchup, what they've said in the press this week about getting back to the run and the fact that he's coming off a few down weeks and the team should be shooting hard for a chance at the 1 seed. All the planets are aligned for a good game. Just wonder if his high draft selection is going to pay off for any of us.
