I agree, solid draft. It is hard to go too far wrong in an 8 team league as the depth of talent is so large. That team in a 14 or even 12 team league would never happen if all members are drafting even reasonably well.
-
I'd keep Maclin. There is no guarantee that Moss will get an offer from a team he is willing to play for. We saw what happens when he doesn't like the team that picks him up last year in TN. I doubt he plays unless a team in at least the divisional race makes him an offer and I cant see any of those teams wanting him right now.
-
+1 on Tolbert. I think he is the best bet of the 4 to get touches.
-
+1 on Nicks or Fitz and I think I'd go Fitz just because he will get a ton of targets.
-
Purely from an economics standpoint. I keep Bradshaw, Nicks, and MWilliams. All can be kept for a price 3 rounds lower than they will likely go in the open draft. I like McCoy and he will likely go in the 1st round, but I cant afford to keep him and lose one of those others and essentially have to move up 3 rounds to get them again. I'd keep the three above and go best available RB in the 1st and in the 2nd.
-
I probably make that trade. Hillis will split carries with Hardesty so some downside there but Jennings has to deal with a healthy J. Finley as well as all the other targets on the packers. With Roddy and Holmes as my WR1/2 - I'd get another solid Back to pair with Rice.
-
I like option 3 the best of them. Reasons: 1.) I don't like MJD as a top 4 pick in the first round. Just too much risk there for me to take him that high. If he slides to 11th or 12th pick or high 2nd round, I'd take him, not at 4th overall though. 2.) I like Andre in the first and Gore/Turner/SJax in the 3rd if you can pull that off. I'm not sure any of those 3 fall that far but if they do, its great value at that point. 3.) Without knowing your league and its scoring system, I see no reason to take a QB early and cost yourself a stud WR or RB. If I knew you were in a QB heavy scoring format, I might think differently but without knowing, I'll wait on QBs til the Ryan, Stafford, Flacco, Eli tier comes around.
-
If you think Rice will outperform CJ, Charles, Foster, and AP this year, I think you can make a case for taking him #1. I see the 5 as largely interchangeable with a slight advantage to Foster/AP in my rankings. I think it is a do or die year for Rice as all the obstacles are gone so if he doesn't have a monster fantasy year, his stock tumbles going into next year kind of like what we see with Gore, Turner, Forte and some other former top 5 picks.
-
I think your WR choices cost you a better 2nd RB which is your weakest point. I would have passed on Greg Jennings and taken a more solid RB2 Assuming he was your 3rd round pick.
-
and with Miller now in Seattle with No QB present, I'd stay with SJax for sure. I just downgraded Miller on my draft board which is sad considering where he came from.
-
I think you got it right. I like Miller but TE depth is at an all time high and I wouldn't trade Sjax especially in PPR for him.
-
Your starters look pretty good IF, and it is a big if, they can stay healthy. Stafford, Colston, Jackson, and Daniels have all missed a lot of time with injuries and are all coming off seasons where they spent a significant amount of time off the field. I agree with other posts that if you are going to role with high-risk guys, you need some low risk replacements waiting in the wings even if they don't have the upside that some of these guys have. I like stafford, but would want a solid QB2 for the weeks he is dinged up. Same with Colston, Daniels, and SJax.
-
Plax is a reason to avoid Keller as even a TE2 in my book.
-
3. Williams is more talented and faster than Beanie ever thought about being. I think Williams is likely to make Beanie an also ran (pun intended) by mid-season.

*** Official Titans Offseason Therad***

Who are the titans going to throw to? Moss quit, Britt cant stay out of jail long enough to be effective or stay healthy. And meanwhile they have drafted no-one and brought in nobody in free agency. If all they are gonna ask the QB to do is hand off to CJ, they way overpaid for both Hass and Locker.
