First, I don't think Trump trusts, with good reason, ABC to not give the Harris camp the questions in advance. And, as negotiating is part of my job, you always insist on more than what you need in the opening salvo then allow the other party to "negotiate" you down to an agreeable position. Which, if you're any good at negotiating, is right about where you wanted to be in the first place.

Trump loves to perform in front of a crowd. He agreed to debate Biden in a dark, empty auditorium because bright lights and large crowds are a distraction for someone with Joe's cognitive disabilities and would be detrimental to his ability to debate. Trump knew how bad off Biden was so he made concessions that he knew wouldn't cost him anything. He knew he'd win the debate regardless. If Harris needs those same concessions, most importantly having the questions in advance, it proves she's the one who is afraid of a straight up debate. And so are all of you. Hence the about Trump renegotiating the terms.

She never agreed to an ABC debate either.

In your opinion, why should Trump honor the agreement he made with Biden given the fact that Biden was removed from the debate? He owes the Harris camp nothing. Why not force them to renegotiate? I see nothing wrong with it.

The suit against ABC is superfluous. The terms agreed to against one opponent don't apply to a different opponent. It ain't rocket surgery. Unless you want to make excuses.

Trump, magnanimously agreed to Biden's "I'm cognitively impaired and bright lights and large crowds trigger my dementia" rules. Unless Commiela suffers from the same disabilities, she shouldn't be afforded the same concessions. It's really simple. The fact that so many of you have a hard time grasping that concept is telling. You don't think she can debate Trump without the special rules agreed upon for a demented old man. You're basically admitting she was a DEI hire and isn't fit for the job.

As I already pointed out, as the incumbent potus, everybody with any common sense assumed that Trump would be debating Biden, because the dems had been gaslighting everybody about Biden's brain functionality. Plenty of us here told you Biden was gone mentally but you believed what the msm told you despite all of the evidence to the contrary. The bottom line is, the Dems changed the game by forcing the rightful nominee out and installing a new one, who nobody wanted or voted for. Trump is well within his rights to renegotiate the terms of any debate with a new opponent. You guys can about it all you want. It's pathetic, but, honestly, it's to be expected at this point. It's what you do when you can't tilt the playing field in your favor.
