I think the line was they can go to shelters or jail. I doubt there are enough shelters and jail also doesn’t seem a long term solution or legal. -

Seattle you can google it. I saw it first hand in the public parks near my house and on streets in my hood. They cleared out these spaces where people had set up tons of tents and parked their RV’s after pandemic These people move somewhere else, however. The problem is not cured. But having them live in tents in the middle of the park is definitely not the answer. -
You are going on about how this is how the real world works with wars and the like. I’m sure if I looked you probably parroted this line from him. Look, I know he’s your hero and all but it’s ok to say he just says dumb stuff all the time..,like this. He said it hundreds of times while when he was a candidate.
-
Dumbshit Don is the one who said he could solve it in one day of all the stupid stuff he says this was pretty high on the list wouldn’t you say…you won’t. I don’t see any way Ukraine gets land back that Russia has now. Have said that repeatedly…to you. What should be able to happen out of a negotiations is they get real assurances that is now done.
-
Of course not. What would be Don’s fault is if he just walks away with nothing out of this like a betch.
-
They have this land now. Do we give back stolen land? Dumb.
-
They invaded during Biden’s term. That is a fact. Why he did is speculation. We have seen Putin disregard every threat Trump says. He knows it’s empty.

They did this in my city which is as liberal as it gets in many areas. The thing is homeless people will always be a thing and they pop up in other spots because they have to go somewhere. This will happen again in DC. They are just moving stuff around and taking pictures. I don’t have an issue with this, it’s a problem that doesn’t really have an easy answer. Bottom line is it’s not healthy for homeless to be living in tents with no water, no restrooms, etc in public spaces like a park or on a street corner. -
They have Turkey in there. Ukraine earned this. It’s about collecting chips for our stack. If you don’t you let those commie fockwads absorb them.

“Factual events” Putin messed with our elections to get Trump in, he invaded another country murdering tens of thousands of civilians, they have abducted thousands of Ukrainian children. You believe him when he tells you something. SMH

I have zero issue with this. People should not be able to camp out in public parks. -
No. I think he’s surprised at how he handled it after the invasion however. NATO expanded and he is still mired in a war down a hundred thousand soldiers,

Sam Burns has to make this. Dude has been money on Sundays quite a few times this year. -
Nope. He knows he can play Donald like a fiddle and saying stuff like that riles up all the rubes in the US. It costs Putin nothing to say that but is invaluable propaganda. You want to look at how Putin’s summits go with Trump? It’s not good. Don got out of this one without managing to side with Putin publicly over our own IC and didn’t have to issue the lamest of corrections the next day.
-
Who knows they invaded when they did. It’s clear Putin doesn’t give a shlt what Donald thinks, he knows he’s a big talk, no action pussay when it comes to him.
-
He’s giving up like 20% of his country. That’s plenty. A big tough guy like Trump, who everyone knows Putin takes very seriously and is scared of, can say we are going to give Ukraine more weapons if you don’t agree to this. You know like he said when he was a candidate and was saying he could end it in one day. Presumably this stuff he said was supposed to be part of that process, right?
-
If it means Ukraine gets Article 5 like assurances then I think this is a good deal for Ukraine. The alternative is Trump dumps the aide and they get grind down further. It sucks but it is better than they have now. ETA: I don’t think Ukraine is going to get this. I don’t see why this isn’t being discussed as an outcome of this, but it’s not really being brought up much from what I see…they are screwed is the reality I am seeing, Such a tremendous and sad waste of the past few years.

3 dead, 8 wounded in early morning NYC restaurant mass shooting
thegeneral replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
NYC does have a fraction of the gun violence that other big cities have -
This is why a big tough guy negotiator like we all know Trump is says Ukraine is in NATO or has Article 5 protections in this deal where Ukraine is giving land. Otherwise it’s just a surrender and the past few years were a complete waste of lives and money.
-
You worried about Russian money influencing politicians You should look into that.
-
The nukes deal wasn’t exactly as you described from what I have read. It was quite a bit more nuanced than that. But yeah I agree, whatever the terms are or how the relationship is described the West has to be involved in a manner that Russia cannot do this again. That’s a security agreement that is real and not just on paper.
-
Ukraine did give up their nukes but there’s a bit more to this from what I have read. They lacked control of them, they were aging and they were worried about how to support them, they received financial benefits, they received materials to start nuclear power plants, etc. This doesn’t mean the West didn’t screw them to some extent when Putin came sniffing around but we shouldn’t overlook they made a good deal when they gave up the nukes that went beyond just security.
-
The goal is to end the war and make sure this doesn’t happen again. This is the message from our State Department. How do you do that. Ukraine will have to give up some land. It’s a war they lost territory. Ukraine has to have reassurances this dickhead terrorist won’t do this again. Only way that happens is if Ukraine is tied to the West. Thats either NATO membership or some other form of protection that is tied to the West.
