Why do you think there aren’t daily stories about the Paxton dude in Texas. He’s a real piece of shet but there’s not a peep. -

Up until last month Platner was def not Collins best chance as far as I have seen. Without this stuff that is coming out he would roll Collins. Very much up in the air now. This could be anything from blip to him refusing to step down and loses all party support and runs some weird campaign solo. From a pure entertainment and sport view this is all pretty entertaining TBH. I had been hearing about this Platner the oyster farmer ex/Marine for awhile and while not necessarily my type of politics he has a good story and good sound bites. How this gets navigated by him will be quite the test. I don’t know about this Golden person at all but I do think Collins is ripe for the picking. Any decent Dem candidate will be her. -

We just moved on from this I guess? Trump’s job numbers were revised down pretty much every month outside of the last couple of this presidency. -

This is the crux. The states and cities paying for these dude’s new stadiums. That is unpopular. But so is a team leaving. Seattle had this with that asshat Howard Schultz and the Sonics. The city had just paid for renovations and then he wanted a fancier stadium. City said no and then he had a fit.

Do you have other info showing upward revisions? That would be helpful. -

All the Google searches I get return the same info: The U.S. economy added a net total of 181,000 jobs in 2025. Following extensive annual benchmark revisions by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, top-line job creation for the year was revised down significantly, marking it as the weakest year for employment growth since 2003. [1, 2] A breakdown of the 2025 labor market details reveals: Monthly Average: Employers added an average of just 15,000 jobs per month. Sector Concentration: Growth was narrowly split, heavily driven by the health care and social assistance sectors, while many other industries remained flat or saw declines. Prior Estimates vs. Revisions: Originally, job gains were reported as high as 584,000 before the downward revisions were processed. -

What I see is every month in 2025 jobs numbers were revised down later. Same for this year until last two months. -

The initial jobs numbers have been revised downward every month under Trump 2.0 outside of the last two months.
