Rank These WW QB'S for the ROS

Had Dak. I'm thinking Cousins vs Atl this week. They have one of the biggest over/unders in Vegas, and Atl is bad against the pass. I do have Mattison going as well. Minshew is my 2nd choice, and I have Shenault to pair him up with. Big O/U there too Stafford is there too. Sorry Axe, this is only a 10 team league, so plenty of QB's available.

How do I not win this league every year?

Good question! With trades like that a 26% winning percentage is pretty poor! Lol

Depends on which week it is. Fitz is probably the best overall, if you had to pick 1.

    Z. Ertz... what gives?

I'd have to research routes run. But my guess is that he is blocking more with the injuries to the o-line.

    D. Swift Breakout Coming?

I treat Patricia rbs the same as NE rbs. If you think they are lined up for a great game, bench them.

    trade advise

I agree. And if you had Parker over Hilton for the last 21 games, you would win. But let's see how far apart they are in the next 10... You're very welcome

    trade advise

That may be, but I think TY will improve with more games played with Rivers, and Parker is an injury risk. That's my opinion from here on out. I guess we will see in a few weeks.

    UPDATE: Jets Release Le'Veon Bell

Fournette couldnt return a 7th rd pick. Is Bell that much better midseason?

    trade advise

That's a fair deal. You get 2 rb2 but both clear starters. TY and parker are a wash. Swift may be a year away yet, and Patricia is questionable with his rbs anyways.

    trade advise

You have to remember that the Dak owner also sees the waiver wire. So offering Allen seems like a big piece, but in reality, he should be looking at the upgrade from Fitz to Allen. I'm not giving up a starting rb for that upgrade. If you can work a fairly even trade, adding Allen may put it over the top.

OK Dak owners - what's your backup plan?

Dak was my only qb. 10 teamer. Fitz is out there. I'm thinking Bridgewater for the target. He seems to have a decent floor and schedule looks pretty decent. Dalton is kind of a wild card. Def is poor, so should be plenty of potential for chasing points. Zeke keeps opponents honest, and he has some weapons to work with. Schedule is not as good for him. Minshew is there too. Has potential for big games, but also a lower floor than I like. Support is ok, same with schedule. Probably best as a streamer. Herbert was available in trade, but I think that owner will keep him after tonight's good game. I'll probably end up grabbing Bridgwater in FA. That league has the continual rolling waivers, and I'm up to #2. If someone wastes a waiver, I'll grab Fitz. I hate streaming QBs, seems to waste a roster spot, and I always play the wrong one.

    Future Stud Alert

Still high on him with the prescott injury? Thinking of throwing an offer for him as a 9th rd keeper next year. Hoping owner is in panic mode.

    Dak just broke his ankle

Hes making $31m this year. Plenty of teams need a qb next year. Dallas doesnt seem to have a future qb in house. I think Dak will be more than ok.
  15. Buckner let another one go between his legs?! Shouldve retired after the world series... Boston fans are gonna be sour!

    Buy low, sell high

Who are your buy lows, and sell highs? Buy: TY Hilton. Rivers is the new qb, going into week 3, with no preseason, they have to mesh sometime, right? Can Rivers target Hilton like Allen sometime soon? N. Hines: same story different chapter. I see Hines as a poor mans Ekeler. Will Reich see it? I'm thinking Taylor has a fumble or 2, it becomes a more even backfield. Probably not this weekend vs the Jets though. Needs to be a competitive game script. H. Hurst: I thought he would come out of the gates on fire. He is a better athlete than Hooper, and on a team that's going to be in plenty of shootouts. A disappointing week 1 and meh week 2 might have owners worried. But with no preseason to get in sync, and Seattle has a great set of LB's vs TE, I think he really starts to click with Ryan real soon. Possible shootouts with TB and NO weeks 15 and 16. Sell high: David Johnson: you're not going to get a top 10 return, but Hou is in trouble. With nobody, but a Fuller fly route to defend in the secondary, teams can load the box. DJ is currently healthy, and a negative game script keeps him startable in ppr, but I think he is on borrowed time. I'm taking what I can get for him now, especially targeting Barkley, cmc, owners. Julio Jones: This guy is frustrating, if you've ever owned him. He has HUGE games, followed by duds. His year end stats are always up there. Week 2 he has a hamstring injury. Those tend to linger. With Ridley looking like a top wr, Gage stepping up, and Hurst learning, I think Julio drops out of top 15. It's still early in the season, so you might be able to get a decent return for him, but I prefer him to be someone elses headache. M. Davis: Waivers went nuts for him, like he was going to be the next CMC. Don't get me wrong, if you need a plug and play rb, he seems like a fine choice. But if you burned your waiver choice or faab on him, I'd sell now. CMC will be back and Davis will be relegated back to insignificance. Just my random thoughts while having some beers. Cheers and Good luck week 3.

Any in season trades going on?

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Getting a rb1, te 2-3, and fodder for wr3, rb3, and wr3. But I love being stacked with rbs. Always wr's on the wire.

Who is going to have a blowup week week 3

My dilemma, starting t. Smith vs GB (should be a shootout) and TY (has to get on the same page as Rivers, right?) Do I drop slayton for Shenault? Maybe overthinking after i started slayton, P. Campbell, and Hines last week. Over Ekeler and Ingram.

    Buy low, sell high

Uugh, I'm staying away from that mess. Is that just coach talk, or real? Then you also have McCoy there too. If you think Fournette is gonna be the guy, absolutely buy low. But I cant see him getting the volume, with Brady, Evan's, Godwin, Gronk, Howard, etc. As your rb3 or 4 to cover bye weeks, maybe. If you can get him on the cheap, why not?

Any in season trades going on?

Josh Jacob's is on pace to tie the nfl record for carries. Can he hold up? If he does, that's bad for you. Keeping guys fresh increases their effectiveness, imo. But usage also causes results. I like Kamara over Jacob's in ppr, but standard may put them closer to even. Henry is good with either qb, though I think Herbert may give some deeper throws. But Taylor would give him more looks. So depending what league scoring is, I would think it's a very even deal. And if you like Kamara or Henry, you got what you wanted at a good price. Just my 2 cents

Any in season trades going on?

100% agree. If Lynn doesnt see that Herbert is their best chance at winning, Ekeler drops to a rb3. IF Lynn goes to Herbert, I would guess Ekeler could repeat last year. Hopkins is almost as steady of a top wr as you can get. So it's a very good trade on your part, as long as you have rb depth too. Get on the Gaskin train! Lol

    Deshaun Watson

Having Hopkins and Fuller allowed running lanes to open for him. Each required a DB and at least 1 safety to cover them. Whomever the safety covers, throw to the other. Now, it's just Fuller, cover him with a db safety over the top. Another db on an aging Cobb, and everyone else stop DJ and the qb scramble. Imo, O'Brien (sp) is an idiot, Hopkins for DJ was all Ari win.

As long as they keep puncturing Tyrods lungs, I agree!

Any in season trades going on?

That's what I'm always afraid of. Not hard to find a 2nd or 3rd tier wr. But 2nd and 3rd tier rbs are few and far between, plus trading for one can get expensive.
