Going into the first week of the season, there was absolutely no film on Denver with Welker. It will take a few games, but the league will adapt to some extent.

If half your games are against bad teams and a handful of the rest are average I'd say that's a cupcake schedule

I own Decker in 2 leagues. If Peyton is healthier this year as he seems to be, Denver will throw more, not less. Too early to push the panic button. I can live with 6-7 targets a game. I believe Decker will 'get his'. Welker is 32? I think he will perform well, but will also miss a few games. Decker is different, bigger WR and a true red zone target. I think he'll be a serviceable WR2 and I'll add that I've come to trust Doug's eye for talent. Health permitting, Peyton might throw 55-60 TDS this year with that cupcake schedule and mess in the backfield. Fortunately, in my money leagues, the guys that took Peyton don't know how to draft - the rest of their teams stink.
