Reports Garçon not likely to play!

Do not bench RGIII... Garcon played less than a half last week and III played great... Also, Like the match up at the Rams. Some are giving STL Def too much credit for last week... Stafford and Det WR were just off IMO

    Pick 2 RBs

If Spiller does anything less than 120 and a TD I would be surprised... Assuming NE rolls ARZ, I think you have to go Ridley for the expectation that he will get the touches... On a side note, I don't like Murray at all this week. For what it's worth, SEA run def was excellent last week versuses ARZ and SEA is always a tougher team at home. Good Luck!

Dwyer or Trent RIch this weekend?

Not sure what the debate is here... T Rich is the play.
  4. TheUsualSuspect

Romo vs seattle or Rivers vs Tenn?

Could not find a thread but let me piggy back off of this one... Romo or Luck? (pass TD 4pts, otherwise standard scoring, no bonuses)
  5. TheUsualSuspect

which one to start-Amendola or Young?

Young... He did not play the whole game last weekend. DET will sling it tommorow night as they will not be able to run versus SF. As for STL, threre are some O Line issues which could result in rough day for Bradford and his receivers.

What is plan B if Garçon can't go?

Calm down? I feel great as I have the best WR in ATL... Whom is not Roddy White. But your right, he probably will play. However, with a groin injury, I would keep my expectations low. And I am specifically talking to shorepatrol, as you are obviously a Roddy White owner or perhaps an ATL homer.

What is plan B if Garçon can't go?

IF you want to roll the dice, how about Harry Douglas? IF Rowdy Roddy does not play Mon, Douglas is good for 6-80 and a possible score.

    Is this a fair compromise?

Yeah it wasn't a trade so.... And you would encourage an adult punching a 3 year old in the face, in front of another adult. That is a concern. I am willing to bet you are between the ages of 16-24. Good luck starting a family. Or wait, maybe you were attempting to be funny... Because child abuse is hilarious. Thanks for not taking the time to read even the original post, and keep up the good work.

    The Cancel Out Theory

For Managers that invest any time in the "cancel out method", this is precisely why I don't enter a starting line up until about noon on Sunday... With the exception on any Thursday night action. Fantasy Football is not chess, always play your Studs.

    Is this a fair compromise?

Agreed... And IMO, your league is either a joke or will dissolve over this situation. You are a Commissioner, not a robot... Do the right thing and return Rice to the guy who mistakenly dropped him. If you want to be diplomatic, take a league vote on the correct resolution. If you are a person that lives by principle, Rice goes on waivers and regular waivers rules apply based on your league settings. This to me really seems cut and dry. Regardless of the outcome, I would never participate in a league again where 1. Something like this even happens... 2. The Commissioner demonstrates such indecision and lack of leadership. P.S. If Rice is not returned to the original team, AND not claimed off of waivers, he should not be placed on any team. Unless this is a league of 14 or more, someone will have to face Rice more than once during the regular season which once again can be considered unfair due to scheduling. I am sorry if my response seems harsh, but you asked and although I may be labeled as a "Noob"' here on FF Today, I have actively participated in FF sports for 15+, and know a little bit about managing a team no matter what context. Regardless, good luck in resolution of this dispute and remember to have fun!

Where is the official Fock you thread

With all due respect, how deep is your league so that you must start a WR such as James Jones? 14 team or more, maybe? But what really were your expectations tonight?

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Money in the bank for those of you that took my play on the Pack.... On the other hand, from a fantasy perspective... Obviously complete disappointment. Congrats to all of you Tom Crabtree, Driver, or Kellen Davis owners tonight. Unless you had Crosby or either Def, the only people smiling tomorrow morning will be managers who had no action whatsoever on the Thursday Night Game. Is this any indication of what we are to expect for week 2?

    Anyone rolling with Alshon Jeffery?

Sickening, although not sure where to put the blame... Cutler, CHI O line, GB Def, Jeffery himself? Unless you had Crosby or either team's defense, rough night in Fantasyland.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Don't over analyze this game... It's a big number, Fade the points with confidence. GB by two scores
  15. TheUsualSuspect

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

I'll throw out a couple predictions... GB Rodgers 28/36 363 3/1 Benson 18-56 TD Jordy 8-123 TD Cobb 4-90 TD Jones 6-77 Finley 6-54 TD CHI Cutler 23/41 266 1/2 Forte 13-44, 6-48 Bush 12-44, 2-12 Marshall 9-110 Jeffery 4-62 Bennett 3-32 Davis 2-20 TD Hester 1-21 Packers 34-17... These predictions are sure to go wrong. Nevertheless, best of luck to everyone. Let's start Week 2 off BIG!

What are the chances Julio Jones is the top WR this season?

Okaaay, then Reggie Wayne belongs in this discussion. Or Dez Bryant perhaps... No no, Dwyane Bowe. No wait, one more... Marques Colston.
  17. TheUsualSuspect

    Who is rolling with Ogletree

No. You are over-thinking your line up. Rule #1, always play your studs.
  18. TheUsualSuspect

    CJ2k is a joke

Could not stop laughing for a good 30 seconds... Nice work Sir.

The virtually unbeatable lineup of the week…

Hello... Let me preface this post by stating that I am in 14 fantasy football leagues this season and went 13-1 last week. The only game I lost was where I had DMC Monday Night in a PPR and needed just one more reception. I will not list each of my 14 rosters, but I can assure you that they are all the greatest of all time. And I know this after just one week of football. I know that I will win all of my games in week 2 also, because they are all unbeatable and I always play the optimal line up... Even if it does include players like MJD, Ogletree, and Stephen Hill. All players I knew to play Week 1 of course, for undisclosed reasons. My goodness... Can we rename this topic "One Up Guy"?

What are the chances Julio Jones is the top WR this season?

As I look below, #2 is a concern... Nastrodammas like predictions though, Congrats.

    Anyone rolling with Alshon Jeffery?

No insight here... But +1, as I will be playing Jeffery tomorrow night as my WR3. A repeat of week one would be satisfactory (3-80-1, 5 targets). For me, it was going to be between him or Nate Wash anyways... If nothing else, playing Jeffery because I will be watching the game beginning to end at one of my favorite local bars after a 10-hour stressfully day at work. I don't feel this is to far of a reach and it gives me something to cheer for throughout the game as CHI plays catch up. Needless to say, TEN @ SD is on the brink of unwatchable IMO.

    Mike Turner owners?

Hello everyone, new to the FF Boards... Always enjoy reading everyone's perspectives and opinions on what consumes our lives this time of year... Fantasy Football. As for Turner, tough sell right now. The majority of people I know did not want to touch him draft time a month ago. After going 11-32 (2.9) Week 1, not much has changed. I hate to use the term "upside", but he has none IMO. Unless you are in a league with an ATL Homer, you are likely stuck with him for the next 16. The fact that he is a starter, and has a successful resume of work over the past 4 seasons or so is the only reason why he should be a bench player at best no matter league size or settings. My advice to any Turner owner right now is to make a move for Jacquizz while his stock is low. At least you will own a monopoly in the ATL, and then play your RBs accordingly. Best of Luck!
