I read the Santa Clara study when it was released, and watched as it got eviscerated through peer review. This is the same guy that was lobbying the white house not to lockdown back in March, while everyone else was warning that a failure to act could lead to 100's of thousands, even millions of unnecessary deaths. The predictions made by this study turned out to be wrong, as we now know the death rate is right about 3% across all ages, obviously heavily slanted as you get older but by no means harmless to those in their 30 and 40's when it still settles in at 1% or higher. Follow the money. His study was funded by Jet Blue. You accept the opinion of tiny minority of detractors from the common consensus because it fits your preconceived notions about what is true. That is not scientific or logical thinking. The free exchange of ideas is one thing, but advocating for a POV that could kill millions were it to be followed is not just expressing an opinion, it's akin to yelling fire in a crowded theater. It's irresponsible.

Thanks for the reply. It gives me a better read on you, not better as in, I think better of you, but I now have a better idea of the category of piss-poor thinking you fall into. I'm not going to argue with you. Others have done a better job of pointing out how callous and lacking in any sort of empathy your statements have been, not to mention not factually based. The only thing I'll add is that while my rant singled out your highly racist and inflammatory avatar, I was in general referring to not only you but Tanatastic, Weepaw's and any of the other idiots doubting the severity or need for drastic action to curb the spread of Covid, so don't take each individual line item or statement as directed at you specifically. Well, the on the bright side, it takes some of the guess work out of choosing my starting line up which has cost me one game this year and almost a second.

I'm definitely starting Cooper and McClaurin, but then I need one more from the following: Lamb - Lots of upside against a porous Seattle defense, but they are so bad it might be the Cooper / Zeke show this week. (edit, now that I think about it, Seattle still plays the run tough so I see this more of an aerial attack so there could be enough for Cooper and Lamb to eat. ) J Brown - Playing against Diggs and I'm a Bills homer, part of me wants to gamble that Ramsey drapes Diggs all game, opening things up for Brown to go off huge. C Davis - Could be huge with Brown out against a horrible MN defense Juedy - Same as davis, with Sutton out, could be big, depends on Driscoll's play but he looked good last week. I also have AJ Brown and A Miller but one is injured the other is going bye bye next time I see something I like on the WW. Link yours and I'll comment.

The other matchups are so good, davis vs MN, brown vs rams and TMC vs Cleveland that I'm half tempted to roll out TMC, Brown and Davis and swing for the fences and avoid that Dak vs Seattle situation all together.

So you don't think it's risky to start Cooper and Lamb? They are both going to eat? I'm facing a tough opponent, this decision is crucial. If Brown goes off because Ramsey shadows diggs all afternoon and Lamb ends up with 4 for 45 and Cooper ends up being the boom play, I'm gonna lose my mind. Or davis, or Jeudy. as long as Thomas is out Brees is risky. Coaching staff really believes in putting the ball in the hands of their most talented players and for now that's Kamara. HOWEVER, Brees is a stud, one or two games will not convince me that a rookie is better than him. I think it's too early to sit a stud for a Rookie, period.
