    Help with RBs

Thanks for the advice, guys. Thought long and hard about Janik, but went with Z since I do not trust Oakland and Matt Flynn. I did drop Coradelle, simply because they are a 58% running team and he will likely start the year as the 4th option in the passing game behind Rudy, AP and Jennings. But I do wonder whether or not his return abilities would payoff and feel certain that in some games, especially against the Packers, the double team of Jennings will free him for big games. Also, I can never have enough potential bell-cow backs in the stable.
  2. heavy-set is dead on it: it depends on your league's scoring system. If a PPR league, then Bush, Sproles and the like jump way up the board and backup/committee RBs like Williams(Car), Hillman, Marcel Reece, Joique Bell, Danny Woodhead, etc can give you quality scoring, especially if there teams often trail, ergo pass a lot, and they get TDs. If passing TDs = 6 pts and 1 pt for every 20 or 25 yds, then a QB who throws for 5,000 yds and 40 TDs is going to out score every player in the league by at least 5-7 pts a week. Then, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, probably Brady and possibly Ryan will most likely be worth early picks. Cam Newton gets into the mix since he tends to take the 3 yard and in TDs from his RB teammates. No matter what, RBs that regularly score 10+ pts are scarce, especially in a standard, non-ppr leagues. Last year the difference between AP and Rice, Spiller and Richardson (tied for 6th in pts/game) was 4 pts/wk. Mega and the 5 tied for 5th = 4 pts/game. Brees and the 3 tied for 5th = 4pts/game. But get out of the 2nd round without a top 12 RB and you are very likely going to be frustrated all season, unless you get lucky by grabbing someone like Wilson, Bell, Lacy, Ruchardson or another "surprise" who happens to rise and produce in '13.

    Help with RBs

So I decided to wait on a kicker and draft a stable full of RBs and WRs in a NON-ppr league. Starters are currently: Matt Ryan, Doug Martin, Eddie Lacy, Randall Cobb, Vincent Jackson, Vernon Davis, and James Jones(Flex) Backups are: Ronnie Hillman, Pierre Thomas, Rashard Mendenhall, Anquan Boldin, T.Y. Hilton, Andre Hopkins and Coradelle Peterson. Could get Janikowski, Graham(Cle), Hauschka, Crosby, Akers(Det), Suisham(Pit), Hartley(NO), Zuerlin(StL), Henry(Phil) or Sucop(KC). Getting 5 pts for FGs over 50 yds, who should I pickup? And who should I release: Thomas, Mendenhall or Hopkins?
  4. Poor Kid just cannot stay healthy; he and McCluster. Hope no one is really counting on him to be their #1. Likely to be better off with Foster or, even, RunDMC.
