    Cowboys backfield

How do you see this playing out, and how are you handling this situation if you have one or both of these guys? Zeke still appears to be the main guy, but Pollard has looked better and has received a larger workload than a typically handcuff. Starting both would obviously cap upside, but if this trend continues are both usable most weeks?

    Cowboys backfield

Yeah, if I shop one it would be Pollard since he's surpassed the investment I made on draft day. I just need to figure out if this is a situation where both can be started in my lineup making Hunt tradeable, or if I need to trade Pollard and a starter for an upgrade to make up for Zeke being limited.

    Cowboys backfield

The snap percentage is still heavily in Zeke's favor. The difference/problem for him, has been Pollards effectiveness and the Cowboys seem to make a concerted effort to get him the ball. It's a high scoring offense, so Zeke could make up the lost touches with TD's, but Pollard has been out producing him in that category so far. Zeke's top 5 ceiling is gone. One podcast I listened to compared this situation to Ekeler/Gordon back in the day, where both held value. It's still the wait and see as far as that goes, but I have both and I'm not sure what to do if it turns into that. Starting both could be an okay option (currently have Hunt at Flex), but certainly not ideal for a few reasons. Would you shop one or both of these guys to diversify or would you just roll with having a high end back field tide up?

    Falcons Offense, thoughts

Ridley will get his, but I can't see him being the anchor of a fantasy team he was drafted to be.

    IR spot question…wwyd?

Sounds like a weak commish. He should have established the rules regarding the IR spot when your league went to it. It also seems like you should have known it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission in this league. At this point your commish/league has to decide if the IR spots are only for Covid list, and does that player need to be on your team prior to being injured or the covid list.

    IR spot question…wwyd?

The commish just added IR spots without getting input or establishing rules? That's shady. If he added the spots without laying down any rules for the spots, you should be allowed to use them however you would like. In my league we added IR spots for covid, but we established the player had to have Covid or be on the covid list to be placed on it. A standard injured player was not allowed on it.

    Panthers D

I think they're okay with holding him and keeping him on the bench. They're in the running for the #1 pick and potentially getting his replacement without even trading him yet.

Thin at WR, Need Bandaid FAST !

I have zero interest in Hardman. Hill and Kelce take up so much of a target share, and Mahomes won't force feed anyone else. Pringle, Robinson and Hardman are all the WR #2 here. All can be a last second spot start, but none of them will be consistent. 1. Pittman - If Wentz is healthy he could have a breakout year. If he doesn't have Wentz, he's probably three or four on my list. 2. Moore - You're banking on big plays, but it could happen in this offense. You may be able to even parlay his big week into a player you prefer via trade. 3. Mooney 4. Hardman

Taking Mahomes over CEH was the right choice.

What team will finish with the worst record?

I'll go with the Lions. The Texans may be worse, but getting two shots at the Jags is my tiebreaker.

NY Jets Backfield - Coleman / Carter / Johnson

Corey Davis will command a ton of targets. Receptions and yards should be there for him every week.

NY Jets Backfield - Coleman / Carter / Johnson

I have Coleman, but he's a desperation play at best. I'll only start him if I'm desperate for someone who will at least see the field.

Good luck getting that through the players union.

Ravens RB - better deep league pickup?

I think the Ravens paying Gus to stick around despite having Dobbins is telling. They like Gus, and believe he is capable of being the starter, but they want a 1a & 1b, not a work horse. Sounds like Williams has the leg up and Baltimore is treating him like he'll have a role. I think it's likely that Gus has a larger role in the first few weeks as Williams eats into his work until it's a 1a and 1b situation.

Looking to start a new league...Would Love Some Advice.

To be honest, most of these questions can't be asked until you figure what type of player is going to be in your league. I run my family league a lot different than my other league because I have to. If you have a handful of people you know will be in the league, collaborating with them will be best. The more complex the league is, the harder it is to commish because there are more opportunities for things to pop up. Here are a few things my league does that are not standard. Two wins system. One win for H2H and one for being in the top half of scores. FAAB with waivers that run every night and allow $0 bids. Weekly payout for a random category that is picked

    Late Round TE

I don't think Stafford specifically targets TE's, but Hockenson put up solid numbers last year. I like that he is the only TE in this offense now, which gives him some upside in later rounds. If Thomas falls, I prefer him, but he seems to go a little earlier than I want to take a TE.

    Late Round TE

The guy I seem to come away with most often is Higbee. Not sure where he's going in relation to those guys, but I usually get him in the double digit rounds.

Trey Lance or Justin Fields ?

I agree Dalton will be better and should be starting for them. As long as they're winning, I expect Dalton to hold that job, but the leash is short. I'm an Ohio State fan, so I've watched a lot of Fields. I like his long term prospects, but he did have flaws that need correcting. Primarily, I saw a QB that didn't trust what he saw at times, which made him hesitant to throw it when he should have. He'll have to learn to anticipate players being open.

Trey Lance or Justin Fields ?

I think there's a reason Nagy is on nearly every coaching hot seat list, while Shanahan isn't. They coach in two very different divisions, with the NFC West recently being a division with multiple super bowl contenders every year. Injuries also played a major factor in the 49ers season last year. Jimmy G. is 24-8 as a starter for the 49ers, and they still gave up three first round picks to move on from him. They obviously do not believe he is the reason for their success. Their in ability to trade him, also shows what other teams think of him. Nagy gave up a 4th rounder for Foles last year, wouldn't that makes Fields his 2nd hand picked QB too? I think both are fine fliers, I just prefer Lance. If I'm picking a rookie QB to be a potential difference maker, I want the one with the higher rushing floor and I think that's Lance. Fields will get rushing yards, but I believe they will nearly all be from scrambling out of the pocket. I don't recall Nagy implementing a lot of designed QB runs or being all that innovative with his offense. On the other hand, I think Shanahan will have some spread option mixed in with Lance.

Trey Lance or Justin Fields ?

The past four years SF has averaged more passing yards, rushing yards and scored more points than Chicago. He's gone to a super bowl with Jimmy G, while Nagy is on his 2nd rookie QB. I heard SF has already designed an offensive package for Lance, which would lead me to believe they plan on trying to maximize his skillset. I think Chicago will try and make Fields a much more traditional QB, with limited rushing upside.

Trey Lance or Justin Fields ?

I trust shanahan a lot more than nagy.

    Running back work horse

Tough to say since a lot of players and teams toe the line of workhorse and committee. Chubb for example. He should get near elite level work, but Hunt will get his too. Does that make it a committee? Jones in Green Bay has never had the job to himself, but there's no question who the top dog is. Ekeler probably can't handle the work that most work horses have, but he's still the guy you want. 300+ touches CMC, Henry, Cook, Zeke, Mixon, Barkley (if he's 100% to start), Gibson, Harris 250+ Chubb, Kamara, Jones, Carson, CEH, Montgomery, Davis

    Falcons backfield

In the early rounds, you get talent and opportunity. In the mid rounds you get talent or opportunity. Davis probably has the best opportunity of the mid round running backs. Certainly not the most talented, but he's been serviceable and Atlanta has shown very little interest in adding talent behind him. I can't see myself doing it, but if I had to take a flyer on someone other than Davis getting the job, it might actually be Dont'a Foreman. Foreman was in Tennessee last year where the Falcons new head coach was the OC. Maybe he saw something in Foreman that he hasn't shown since his achilles tear. Obviously it's incredibly doubtful, but I imagine taking touches from henry is more difficult than Davis.

    Falcons backfield

If the question was if Davis will be effective, or they'll sign someone else, then there's room for discussion, but that wasn't the question. The question was which player would lead them in touches and listed the three on the roster. At this point, there is no case to be made for a specific player other than Davis.

    Falcons backfield

At this point I'm not sure how you can project anyone but Davis to lead this backfield and I think this is a situation where the true backup may not be on the team yet. If Davis goes down or isn't performing I think we see a camp cut or a vet get signed.
