Sounds like a couple of Thursday nighters to me

While the one touchdown through six quarters is impressive, I was hoping for more out of Baker this year.

Hey KC Homers - Better WW P/U fill in - Hardman or Robinson
Brutal Brutus replied to MissionCoach's topic in FFToday Board
Everyone here is wrong, the answer is both. Maybe one gets a couple more targets here or there, but it really doesn't matter because the targets in that offense are so much more valuable than a target for any other team. Both fit the profile of high upside flex options or WR3's. -
Mayfield and Cle Dst to combine for about 40 for a double win, 25 or so to be in the top half of scoring and get a single win. Don't like my chances for the double, but I think I'll get the single win.

Spellcheck prefers ladder

2007 Boise State's Hook N Ladder followed by their Statue of Liberty play is probably the play calls and execution I've seen in those scenarios.

I would never want to be a ref in today's day and age. I don't think officiating has gotten worse, I think our standards have changed and the scrutiny has increased with missed calls being magnified. Refs are in a no win situation. For a long time people just chalked up missed and bad calls to being part of the game. Then instant replay was introduced, and we stopped accepting missed calls as being part of the game. We wanted TDs to be reviewed, then out of bounds calls, then catches, and the list increased and increased until now we want penalties to be reviewed. We longer want missed calls to be part of the game, yet on every play you could find something that probably could be a penalty. On top of all that, we also have clearer views of every play. Our 4K TV's catch every detail from the 15 different camera angles they have now. Then after we witness a missed call, we go on twitter, read the thousands of tweets, go onto our 5 favorite sports read an article on each, look through those comments, then we go on to our fantasy football forum and read more about the missed call, and repeat that ever day for 6 days. Our ability to watch and take in the game 24/7 has lead us to the point where we are not willing to consume a product with such an obvious flaw, which is what reffing and rule enforcement will always be.

Any play that gets my guy into the endzone

Bust that you will not draft no matter what.

Take Godwin's great game with a grain of salt since I was going against him. -
A deep threat receiver with that target % is a strong asset. He'll probably be up and down, but Allen being a mediocre QB at best, with a big arm probably actually helps him.

Buccaneers at Panthers: In-Game Discussion

He's an awful passer, but his running made it so you could live with his poor passing ability. A year and a half ago he would have used his legs, lowered his shoulder and used his size to pick up the first down. You take away his running ability and what you have is a QB who can't do anything well. -

Needing only one yard, Cam from a year and a half ago would be a better option than McCaffery now. My point is, Cam isn't what he was, and what he is as of right now, isn't worth much. He needs to run to have value as a QB or in fantasy, and running clearly isn't on the table. -

The last play on offense tells the story with Cam and the Panthers. 4th and 1, game on the line near the endzone. That used to be Cam up the middle, using his running ability to power his way for a first down or into the endzone. Now its a direct snap to McCaffery where he fakes a hand off, runs a stretch play and is forced out. When Cam doesn't run he is a bad QB and a useless fantasy asset. -
I don't think it would be crazy for him the end up there this week, but I'm not betting on it.

Currently getting torched by Godwin -
If Mia plays like they did last Sunday the Pats might reach triple digits.
-
I certainly think he's worth a stash, but mainly I wanted to pointing out his game is on Monday, which people need to factor in. It was probably mentioned above, but I was just skimming through most of this thread and thought I'd add my .02.
-
For Ty Montgomery, unless you have Bell, I'm not sure he's going of much value this week. They play on Monday night and Darnold is out so we'll need to know Sunday morning and the opportunity may not be all that great. A starting running back always has some value, but I'm not rushing to add Montgomery unless it's a multi week injury.
-
I'm guessing he gets put on the commissioner exempt list and the Patriots let it play out from there. Also, how did he graduate high school when he can't even write something resembling a coherent sentence?
-
Yes it was against Winston, but the 49ers looked good on Sunday and now they get a Bengals team that is already down a couple olinemen, Green and possibly Mixon. Dalton has been known to throw a pick or two as well.

Am I overreacting on Mayfield? Thinking of offering Ekeler for Brady
Brutal Brutus replied to MissionCoach's topic in FFToday Board
I'm in a one QB league where just about no one carries a second QB and Brady is available. I'm holding Mayfield, but I plan to put in a nice FAAB bid on Brady. Playing the weekly waiver for a QB is fine, but a Brady/Mayfield combo should give me elite results ROS. -
For as old as he is, Brady looked darn good last night and now he adds possibly the best receiver in the game. Where does he rank ROS? I think he has chance to be an extremely consistent option with the weapons he'll have at his disposal.

Best question ever asked on this forum. -
I'll say 75%. NE is where he wanted to be from the start. He has plenty of incentive, dollar wise, both this year and next year to be a productive and co-operative member of that team. NE also sticks with players as long as they believe they can help them win. With that said, I still leave a 25% chance that I am still, somehow, underestimating Brown and his ability to be a jack a$$.
