  1. Any team signing him will have to deal with female fans protesting. This is why Ray Rice never played again. The last thing the NFL wants, or a team owner, is having upset women protesting them. Who buys most NFL memorabilia? I read an article during the Ray Rice ordeal that it is 75% women buying gifts for their significant other and their friends and kids. Of course Rice had to deliver the knockout blow on camera, but any city bringing in Brown can expect some highly upset women. The #metoo movement has offices in most cities. They would organize a protest and it would be a nightmare for the owner. From what I have read about the entire Brown situation, I'm pretty convinced he never had any intention of playing for the Raiders. He wanted out of Oakland so he could play with the Patriots. The Steelers wouldn't trade him to New England, so he found another way. There is a great story on Google News you may be able to still find which documents this, and definitely makes you believe this was his plan from the start. First the foot issue, then the helmet issue, then the texts come out that he had been asking the Raiders owner to outright release him, then calling the GM a "Cracker" in front of the other players..... He had this planned. If you are an NFL owner, are you bringing this headcase to your town? He is going to want more guaranteed money and isn't going to play for the minimum either. Anyone picking this guy up is going to get what they deserve.

    Pick One

Hilton was definitely the better choice. He didn't do much, but the TD put him over the top. Goff was truly upsetting to watch yesterday. He missed Woods on two huge plays. One he threw a couple yards out of bounds when Woods was all alone and the other he missed him in the endzone. Nice. I had to start Hilton as I don't own Woods, but would have started Woods if I did own him. I'd have been wrong, so good call on starting Hilton.

    Murray or d Johnson

I'm guessing you all missed my thread on the main board. Murray is an absolute stud when he plays the backup role. ESPN had a stat on him Sunday that stated when he fills in for 1-3 weeks, he has consistently been a top 5 fantasy RB. I owned him when he was in MN, and prior. The guy can ball. He broke more tackles against the vaunted (overly) Chicago defense than most starting RB's. I would hope they keep Kamara out next week and let his ankle heal through the bye week.

Anybody reading the Miam RB Tea Leaves?

This late in the season, I don't know..... Prior to this weekend, I had the Eagles and potentially the Lions as teams that may be interested. He's not a "great" RB though and I've read the Dolphins want a 3rd rounder for him. That's a wasted pick for any team as he's a free agent after the season and there are an awful lot of good RB's who could be had in the 3rd round of the draft at a lower cost. Someone mentioned he could be a good fit in Carolina to spell McCaffrey. That's would be a good move by the Panthers, however, it would give him less value than he has now. I know it's cheaper to trade for him before he's traded, but that seems too much like fools gold. I have been watching Walton run behind that crappy Dolphins line and average nearly 5 ypc. That's a yard and a half more than Drake is getting.... I'd trade for Walton before I traded for Drake, if I were a real NFL General Manager.

Carolina needs to do something to give McCaffery some rest. If they end up in the playoffs, he may have no tread left on the tires. Drake wouldn't be a bad option to spell him for a series here and there, or if they are leading in the 4th....

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

This is why I like this site. You mentioned something I had not thought of; Reid. The guy is a genius as an offensive mastermind. He will, if nothing else, put Moore in a position to not lose the games.

    Pick One

That one wasn't bad. I'd still start Woods this weekend. I do have a handicap (or a few), but having low Elf esteem is not one of them. Every Christmas, I put that little SOB all over the place.

Who do you think could potentially trade for him? I looked at the teams in contention and cannot find one where he seems to fit really well. The Eagles could potentially be a fit, or he Lions, but even those seem like a bit of a stretch.

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

Sort of an old term, but I understand. It's ok to agree to disagree. We aren't arguing. lol I just see how difficult that route was and cannot sit here and say that is a sign that Moore will be a competent QB in the stead of Mahomes.

    Trade offer thought

Cordy Glen, the Left Tackle. They just suspended him for a game. He got a concussion in the preseason and hasn't played yet. They want him back on the field, but a 2nd opinion from a doctor was that he wasn't ready. So, the Bungles suspended him for a game for 'Conduct Detrimental to the Team'. Ouch. Considering how badly they need the help along the line, and how bad the team is overall, you would think they'd let him sit out a couple more weeks if he needs it. They don't believe he does. I have to think this is going to hurt them in free agency as well. Who would want to go there knowing they will push you to come back even when a 2nd opinion (not the team doctor) says you should probably wait?

    WR and desperate

I'd absolutely give C. Davis or Brown a shot. Personally, I'd try for Davis first, then Brown. Tannehill is a MUCH better actual QB than Mariotta (system guy that shouldn't be considered a QB).

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

I get what you are saying, but watch that entire play. Hill is the one who worked to get open and it wasn't an easy thing to do. Moore did hit his guy for what should have been a 24 yard completion. The rest of that play is all Hill, as was the unbelievable job of finding that open spot. Hill was open. It isn't like Moore did anything on that play that another QB couldn't have done. Watch it again a few times. You'll see Hill just doing Hill things, making it look like Moore is a decent option. lol

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

I hope this is the case. As a St. Louis guy, we root for the Chiefs with the Rams skipping town. I'd like to see them bring him back only when he's healthy enough to not do further damage to himself.

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

Did you not actually watch that play? That wasn't Moore, it was Hill. lol Sure, Moore threw the ball, but how much of that TD belongs in the "Matt Moore" Hall of Fame section? Not much.

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

Mahomes owners may have to do this, but McCoy owners got him between the 11th & 12th rounds. I pray they had other RB's drafted in those rounds prior to selecting McCoy. lol He is my 4th RB, at best, on my squads. Now may be the time to push his involvement and work on a trade, if anything. He still has some wiggle in his game, although not much. I am counting on Moore dumping off more passes to the RB's though.

    Pick One

I think this is a mistake. For one, Hilton will likely be double covered. I still expect him to post solid numbers, don't get me wrong, but not some gargantuan performance. Jacoby has proven he is reluctant to look at anyone outside of Hilton first. The Texans will be well aware of this and look to make certain he doesn't beat them deep. He has his best games of the year against the Texans, historically, but this isn't the same team as years past. Desmond Trufant isn't playing for the Falcons this week. He would have been covering Woods. Who covers him now? A backup Cornerback on a team with no pass rush? This is the sort of game that rectifies what is wrong with the Rams aerial attack. I can see both teams having great success passing the ball. I am starting Hilton in several of my leagues, but I don't own Woods in those leagues or I would start him.

Anybody reading the Miam RB Tea Leaves?

I'm not under the assumption he will even be in the NFL next season. I have roster space, so why not? Sure, it's a total shot in the dark, but it doesn't have an effect on my team at all. Our available roster is 22 players. With Walton, I only have 19 of those slots filled. The reason we have the deep rosters in Dynasty is for this very reason. It keeps people interested in the game and looking for a diamond in the rough. Some insane longshots have panned out well, although I highly doubt this one will. IF the Dolphins improve their offensive line this offseason, and they go with a rookie QB next season, I can't see them using anything more than a late round pick on a RB. Walton has a least looked good, and that's behind a shoddy line. Add in two new starters next season and who knows..... My guess is they will use the Patriots system of not having a true workhorse back, but if he even ends up with flex appeal, it cost me nothing.

Anybody reading the Miam RB Tea Leaves?

If you are in a Dynasty League, holding on to Walton for next season isn't a bad idea. I have him stashed on my bench. Drake will be gone and I cannot see them drafting a RB as they have too many other needs. A RB with some pass catching skills isn't a bad guy to hand onto in PPR leagues. I can't see starting him, even as a Flex, with Drake still in the house. I also have to wonder who is going to give up anything for Drake? He's never been a full-time RB and he's a free agent after the season. It's not like he's "great" or anything. Anything more than a 5th/6th rounder is too much. Without him on the team though, it's possible Walton could be used as a Flex if you are truly desperate and already out of the playoff race.

    Josh Gordon Buy Low?

With Henry coming back soon and the trade deadline approaching, I can't see how Gordon is going to do much, if anything, more than he has done so far. I never understood the hype for him this season. He's not the same WR he was several years ago by a longshot. On top of that, you have to deal with his many mental issues. Not worth it for a fantasy owner.

    I Know Everyone is Wondering...

Dude, DraftMaster leagues are winnable by anyone who has any knowledge at all. I posted my stats on RTSports in another thread. I stopped drafting in them because it's 8 people that don't understand fantasy football, one decent owner, then yourself. It's what kids play. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but c'mon...… Those leagues show nothing, require nothing and half a brain wins you the league. I took 17 leagues out of 20. It's useless information though, so why brag about it? I would be impressed if you were winning in real leagues. You mention your wins, but not the competitive environment of the leagues. Are these WSOFF leagues? No. Are they Championship leagues with only those that have won other leagues? No. Competition makes the difference. Are these high dollar leagues? No. I don't see the point in the post. There are really competitive leagues out there worthy of being bragged about if you win. DraftMaster leagues are certainly not one of them, nor are leagues where you are playing for free, or with friends. Some people play strictly for fun, which is great. Others though, like Axe, play in DraftMasters and unknown leagues, then believe they are the best. lol Sorry. Win a big time league with an entry fee of $500 or more, then people that have been around FF for 20+ years will respect a post like this. Until then, it's only bringing out your narcissistic tendencies.

    Pick up Murray????

I like Murray. When called upon in MN, he delivered. He's not nearly as dynamic as Kamara, but few are. He can catch very well out of the backfield and he is a good running back overall. If Kamara doesn't play, he's more than a worthy starter, especially in an offense that throws to their RB's this often.

    Anyone starting Singletary?

I think both he and Gore, possibly even Yeldon, could have good games against Miami. Miami is just that bad. I'm using Gore at my Flex spot in one league this week simply because it's Miami. I lean a bit in the opposite direction as the post above. I see no reason to use Singletary plenty against Miami in his first game back for a potential playoff team. He certainly shouldn't be needed, so why would they risk aggravating his hammy again in a game they should easily dominate? He will get some carries, but I think it would be unwise to risk the guy you are absolutely going to need down the stretch in a game they should win handily.

    Trade offer thought

From looking at your roster, it may not be a bad move for you as you need a WR. Thomas will light it up once Brees returns and if the Bengals stop treating their LT like crap, he may return in a couple weeks as well.

    Patrick Mahomes - Dislocated Kneecap

Those that drafted him early have to be ill right now. I hate to imagine the Chiefs without him, but can see McCoy's production and involvement going way up with Moore at QB.

Ekeler or Manny Sanders?? By game time!!

I am a fan of Sanders, but can't imagine starting him over Ekeler in most any game with Flacco as his QB. I know I'm late to the party on this one, but Flacco has looked BAD.
